No doubt he is one of the most brilliant teacher in SOM today, I had been really struggling to understand this topic for so long and there are no proper explanations available on youtube for this topic
cantilever beam 56 m long carries u.d.l. of 8 kN/m. Find dimension of rectangular beam. Take permissible stress in beam is 6 N/mm2. Take ratio Depth to breadth is 2.0.
The process is correct but poor conversions lmao. Did he just divide 40 x 10^3 by 10^3 to change kN to N and m to mm those 10^3 would cancel out and will result to the same number LOL 40 kN/m is not 40 N/mm.

On Shear force and bending moment please make cantilever, simply support beam, overhanging, with point load, udl, uvl
Ohh....thanks sir ...i was waiting for This topic only....
Great explanation sir 🙏🙏

whats the answer?
Some problem m equal to w l /8 why?
are u the one answering problems on chegg 😮
40KN/m= 40X10^6 N/mm correct karo
Yeah
No check your math again
40 kN/m = 40 N/mm
@@makudamakana5440 Check your brain
40 Kn/m = 40 N/mm
Thanks sir u r awesome 😍
Hi sir. W stand for what? Force?

Very helpful thx...

Sir in both compression zone nad tension zone bending stress are taken positive ?
NO DEAR COMPRESSION +VE AND TENSION -VE..
@@huzaifatariq8507 hi
So bending stress can be negative and positive right?
Yeah
@@huzaifatariq4623 And what about principal stresses
@@huzaifatariq4623 can principal stress be negative?
Why not bending moment about centre is wl^2/4
Thank you sir 🙏😄

Good
Thanks
Nice
Unit conversion galat hai
40kN/m - 40000000 N/mm hoga
40 kN/m = 40 N/mm
@@alirazawains512 stupid
At same not rectangular section I need same calculation for circular tube
Sir I'm confused about the units while calculating bending moment t

Perfect

Bro please give a number one doubt bro
40 kN/m = 40 N/mm
No. 40 kN/m = 40 x 10^6 N/mm
Bhai
Shouldn't the stress increase with the increasing I ?
I being the denominator.
how you know we have to calculate Ixx not Iyy
Magic
Did you every find out? I am wondering the same thing
1n per mm aa raha
