Just a quick tip. When catching fish and holding them on the boat without an esky the best thing is a hessian bag...you just keep the bag wet and it will keep the fish cooler.
We've recently upgraded to an esky but good to know to have that too handy in the boat, thanks for the tip Andrew!

Nice to see you both out on the boat. Rule of thumb for fuel consumption on a 2 stroke is… they will burn half their hp per hour at wide open throttle. Example a 20hp will burn 10L/hr at wide open throttle. Hope this can help when working out your fuel. Better off looking at it then looking for it. Same goes with beer lol

I've noticed in my life anyways, when things don't go as planned, if there is an issue, ( turning around because I forgot something, ex: flippers) that there is a reason for it. Meaning, like maybe when Chris got his finger bit off, IF that didn't happen, perhaps there could have been a Shark in the area If you kept fishing and hadn't bumped into the Puffer fish.. I always try to look at Everything in a Positive manner even though it doesn't feel it at the moment..

Chris. Please hook the lanyard to your wrist. If you go overboard hooked on your shorts, it may become lost during the fall, makingg a restart difficult.

Hope you recover well Chris, my dad lost a thumb in an accident and he said he lost it by sucking it too much, stopped me sucking my thumb real quick so you might be able to have some fun with it.

We took our 3.7m tinnie to Whitehaven Beach for 5 days camping back in September. Weather was crazy, 18knot windows big swells. Would not do it again! Went via Hamilton Island and came back through Hook passage. Took us 6.5 hours to get to Whitehaven…
That sounds like a bad experience indeed, hope you never get similar conditions again!

Did you say Crow? Crow bird? If so, you have a friend..Crow are the smartest most intelligent birds around.. If you hold food out for him eventually he'll eat from your hand, If you Talk to them, They will always recognize your voice and they learn to also talk easily.. But IF a Seagull,,? Lol not sure about the... I'm shocked a crow could be out that far from land, but not impossible.... May I ask, what did/do you both do for work? Do you still work? Hopefully not.. Will the Baby come along on new adventures?
