Webinar: Cold-Hardy Winter Vegetables

What is needed to succeed in winter vegetable farming? This workshop explores the question with cold-hardiness tables, scheduling, weather prediction, protection strategies, and hoop-house growing. The session focuses on four ranges of cold-hardy crops: (1) fall crops to harvest before severe cold; (2) crops to keep growing into winter; (3) crops for all-winter harvests, and (4) overwintering crops for spring harvests. There will also be discussion on how to properly store winter vegetables.
