I actually did an English writing project last year on the Adventures Of Thomas. I am very fond of the movie, and I really, REALLY wish it was made before being cancelled
I remember when I joined the Animation course at my home city, Sheffield Hallam Uni I discovered two of the team on "The Adventures of Thomas" were writers on Pendleton Ward's "Bravest Warriors", Chris Viscardi and Will McRobb helped develop Pendleton's hilariously foul mouthed sci-fi comedy which was ironically all the things he wasn't allowed to do in Adventure Time with Cartoon Network.
Apparently, Britt saw no reason why the movie had to be cut, despite kids wanting to see more of Thomas and less of Shining Time. NTM I don’t understand how P.T. Boomer would be scary.
@@joshuaW5621 Even in the uncut versions of TATMR, Boomer still seems irrelevant to the main plot tbh. He really only appears couple times, and then disappears from the film until the final chase scene with Diesel 10. This is where I praise how TATMR Parody handled Boomer, as Vinnie himself admits that Boomer was very boring as a character, so one of his goals was to give Boomer more screen time and more explanations to many plot points
The Jack and the Pack spin off was planned by Britt Allcroft and the original crew, not HiT Entertainment. HiT bought out the Thomas brand during season 7, after the two Jack and the Pack episodes of season 6 had been released. HiT did produce the later Jack and the Pack episodes which were released on an exclusive DVD but even then HiT meddled around with it, even changing the episode titles as you mentioned. HiT Entertainment's involvement with season 7 by the way is a bit of another story to itself but in short, they pretty much ruined the U.S. release for anyone who cared about the classic stuff. Michael Brandon in my opinion is the worst narrator and they replaced the original music.
i respectfully disagree! imo Micheal Brandon COULD'VE been a pretty decent narrator, better than S6 AB, with the original music and much MUCH better direction (a nice break from the boring monotone narration of Micheal Angelis form the (S)HiT Era)

"Only not making sense to Alcroft and no one else" is just not true. That story didn't make any sense as a kid (I had, and still have a copy of "The Complete Collection"), and I still didn't really get it until some explained it to me a year ago. And The Three Railway Engines (The Sad Story of Henry 1953's official name, as revealed in the day's printed program schedule) was confirmed to exist by Wilbert Awdry in "The Thomas the Tank Engine Man", his biography, and gave details like the scale of the models used, and what specifically they were.
Ditto, Diesel 10 never gets a break from creative differences does he? Jackanory was interesting too. Shame the BBC binned them, would been nice to see them. Having said that the BBC would never have funded Thomas and Friends in 1984 so it's looks as though they didn't really like it very much if they made some half hearted efforts to produce anything based on it.

The reason for concerts just being removed is probably so they can cut the best bits for stuff like Ready, Steady, Wiggle or to entice people into going to future shows

That CreepyPasta was right all along the scene was real there’s only screenshots and I can tell you those photos do not look like they’ve been edited and I mean there’s just no way they were edited because I’ve seen Timothy on Trainz A Billion times and this Timothy looks like something new entirely check it out for yourself just look for the CreepyPasta that has the thumbnail of the real Timothy and then click the link get the two photos for yourself if you want and then make a thumbnail out of it and then work from there good luck.

A rumor exists that murdoch was going to be reused for Hiro Also, another crazy rumor is that is that The Great Discovery and Hero of the Rails were going to be one film. The latter seems ridiculous but look: The origial title of The Great Discovery was going to be Leader of The Track, similar to Hero of the rails, Both films involve thomas finding something old, and Stanley originally had a main role in Hero of The Rails. Another obscure unconfirmed lost media: The model only "Henry Gets it wrong" episode. This is a season 12 episode, meaning it used model footage with cgi faces. However apparently, when this first aired on sprout, the cgi faces were supposedly ommited, possibly meaning sprout recieved raw footage. The only proof of this being true is a rare promotional image of harold in his model form, instead of cgi. This is completely unconfirmed.
