This is very cleverly done. The voices are the same as some are familiar with. When listening to an audiobook it is nice to be able to look up and see illustrations. I hope they download the other two parts of Tolkien’s book. The sound is so very clear even though there is music and sound effects.
there really don't need to be 800 versions of the same reader on TH-cam. You're ruining youbue by making it impossible to search for anything. Also, this narrator doesn't know how microphones work. It's astounding peoplen like this garbage. I guess it's free, at least. You suck.
Love this!!! Please do all of Tolkien books this way hot damn! I've done a lot of Spotify, Audible, Kindle, ect and this tops all of them. Pretty awesome having a hybrid of audio and video to keep you engaged. Really really cool and hope there is more like these to come for stuff like the Silmarillion and other great Tolkien works. Excited for the future of this channel! Good luck and best wishes!
Hello! I’m a fan of your videos-they’re fantastic. I believe with some enhanced editing, they could be even more impactful. I’d love to collaborate! How about a 10-minute call tomorrow?
I removed all of the Howard Shore music and used LOTRO music and sound effects for the background mood instead. The party fireworks sound effects are from LOTRO and match the LOTRO animation that I used, for example. I kept his original sound effects where they applied and lowered the volume of them to -25db, but some of them added nothing but interfering noise to the voice narration, like a thunderstorm occurring where a hot sunny day was being described in the Old Forest, and that got taken out.
@@lotrfanhome I've listened to the entirety of the Phil Dragash LOTR audiobook and am very fond of it. This would be a good alternative to hear, especially with the LOTRO screenshots to accompany the audio 👍🏼
I'd love to hear your opinion on it. I like to think I've kept the best of Phil Dragash, and polished him up even better, a diamond in the rough. But if you've never listened to his original to know what was rough...

Wow, thank you!
Great to have you back Phil!
It's even more awesome with the LotRO backgrounds!
I'm glad you like it.
Excellent, I've been watching all your videos! They're great🤩!
Glad you like them!
What's new? An audio overhaul and new background music.

Thank you so much! I plan to at least finish all of the trilogy, but no promises after that. I'm so glad you enjoyed it.
I miss the “mmm…” as Master Philwise the Renowned takes a hit of Old Toby from his pipe before beginning the great tale

No, thank you. It's just a hobby.
This is the audiobook read by Phil Dragash, correct?
Yes, the credits are in the video description.
@@lotrfanhomeAh yes I see. You also put in some more sound effects, yes?
