- In mid-December 2021, we hiked New Zealand’s famous 19.4 km (12.1 mile) Tongariro Alpine Crossing - also known as the Tongariro Crossing - with our 4 year old. The hike took us a total of 10 hours, and the little guy was able to walk nearly all of it by himself. Although it was a LONG day and the hike was not what we’d consider easy, the experience of making this journey together was worth every painful step.

Wow! My friends just did the hike and at the end we saw a family with three little kids and I didn’t believe they could have done the whole hike with the little ones, but now I believe it! Thank you for filming it! We're booked to do Waihohonu with a couple of six year Olds in March. After watching your video for that trip, i think it'll be a cinch for our boys. This video has me setting our sights a bit higher for future :)

I saw you in Taupo today near the hobby shop and thought I know those people, and was trying to think where I knew you from, then realised don't actually know you personally 😁😆 and saw you again near Kiwi bank 😉. please anyone who goes hiking in nz always take warm clothing and wet weather gear and food joining a local hikeing club is always a good idea
