I've been gifted a awia nxs d757. Its been sitting in a dry room for years, dusty as hell but works fine collecting it tomorrow. This video is just what I needed thank you.
Great job
All the best
Very useful video friend, i.m so interested in your product cleaner video. Thanks
Nice receiver, I picked up a technics the other day that is really dirty too. Going to clean it like this.
it's not a receiver 'cause it doesn't have tuner...
it's an integrated amplifier 😁
...and it's a decent one
and BTW, nice job with cleaning all electrical contacts / joints 👍
How do you clean and make the front of the separates to get them looking shinny and new ???
I bought pioneer private pro ax 720 amplifier but it is not giving sound to the speakers but when i turn on the amplifier there is a slight vibration in the amplifier. Plz tell how can i fix
What cleaning products did you use?
👍👍👍
What did you use to clean the faceplate and the casing ? Can i use Isopropyl?
Got no sound on loundness pioneer a-337. But cd direct works just like bass and treble. Suggestions somebody?
Yo tuve el mismo problema con un Pioneer A303, la falla era el conmutador del botón "direct" tenia las soldaduras quebradas, solo volví a soldar y listo!, como nuevo
what kind of liquid spray did you use to clean the faceplate. its had to be non corosive so it wont damage to black matte finish
Can You give the links of products used please Thx😊
My A400 is the shnizzle
Can you tell me what the liquid molly was for?
It lubricates and restores scratchy contacts. I used to restore old 80s boom boxes and this stuff really works great
Nie lać po tych elementach .Jak ten wzmacniacz brzmi czy ma czyste tony wysokie
Ughhh, yet another "juicing up" with chemical sort of video. Oh man, why do you people doi "cleaning" and "restoration" like that? And you do the video and post it. Are you aware some people may actually follow your steps! And ruin hi-fi equipment. Uh! :-( :-( :-(
Hi. I get it. Can you share a link of a vid on how to do so. I have a Technics SE-9600P that I would love to clean.
Hi may I ask how do you proceed instead? I am thinking to use just delicate soap Regards Gino
@@gino3286 Faceplate, backplate, all construction pieces (armature or however you want to call it) should be completely disassembled. In fact, the best way to go is disassemble entire unit. PCBs I clean with 99,99% alcohol (denaturated alcohol) with a soft brush and okd toothbrush. Until clean. Of course, watching not to destroy traces, components etc. Faceplate and all constructive parts I clean with mild dishwasher soap solution rinsed with water and left to dry. And regarding all the pots and switches the best way to go is opening them up. If carbon trace then first checking, cleaning and appropriate lubricants applied where needed. Pouring a ton of contact spray is a remedy only if not cleaned and preserved right. Anyway, takes time and practice. It is so easy to destroy carbon traces on pots you wouldn't believe it. The last thing I would do is half assembled unit cleaned like this. But maybe this is a way to go if you have find and just want to get it somehow cleaned to flip. If personal unit, then it goes all the way 100% check, clean, lubed... I guess you know what I mean by that.
@@Beexzz hi thank you for the very kind and valuable advice I will try with an old amp of mine full of dust
There is a guy on TH-cam who went to a car wash to clean a very dirty amp and dried it up in a oven
A little weird but it seemed to work fine
kind regards gino
@@gino3286 Please DO NOT follow such an idiotic videos of car wash and oven. On the other hand, your Amp. so I guess you can do whatever pleases you!
Not impressed.
Great Video, can you list the products you used to clean the face plate and knobs, thanks
