  • The show was powered by Cobra Firing Systems. Fireworks came from Pyroland, Fireworks Forever (Dominator), Victory, Spirit of 76, and more. Scripted with Finale3D.
This is my 9th show in 10 years (2020 😢), so I included a flashback song from the 2013 show: My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark.
Firing system info: 411 cues across 26 Cobra modules (18Ms and a 36M) + an Audio Box
    Songs:
    0:00 - Clap Your Hands
    2:05 - Boom
    3:24 - Sweet Caroline
    5:30 - Lionheart (Featless)
    7:23 - Star Spangled Banner
9:22 - My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark
    10:14 - Let's Do This
12:00 - The Beginning of the End

We use the Madison Rising in our show also. It is a great tune to shoot fireworks too.

Hate that TH-cam hides these gems from me sometimes. Great show, glad I found it! 😎💥

Had taken the last 6 weeks off from fireworks and getting around to watching everyone's show. As always Rich amazing show I like to watch each year to get new idea. You seem to have used a LOT of singles this year. How many cues did you end up using?

    • @richhagemeyer

Thanks! This year was 411 cues.

@@richhagemeyer I knew it had to up in that range. Everyone loved our opener this year and had to tell the pyros if they wish fill up the show like what you did we need to double our cues. Money more money

@@ExtremeCrewFL Just watched your show. Nice job! Opening was super tight! Great music choice and cue timing throughout the show. I love that you've got the flame machines up in the air. Height makes them so much better! This year, I moved mine closer to the audience, and it made the flames look a lot bigger. I've only got two, but based on your show, I see I need more 🙂.
I've been thinking of using PAR lights in place of strobes but have been worried they won't be bright enough. Yours looked super bright.

@@richhagemeyer Thank you Sir, I used most of my cues for that one song to show the guys what we could do if we up our game. As for the lights they are U-king lights. I tested 8-9 brands off ebay and sent them all back besides the ones I have now. The lights are 270w/15w LED, to be honest their overkill but 10w just didn't have the punch I needed from U-King so I ordered the brighter ones. I can also use as strobe's if needed with some extra line codes within Cobra. Am looking at a few system to add moving lights now that can take time code from cobra without having to buy a lot of extra gear. I seen you posted with the guy that used Light-O-Rama. I really don't need a pro DJ system for a 18-20m show 1 time per year. So am hoping that will work. I'll be calling them tomorrow with a lot of questions.

Do you have a list of the pyrotechnics you used for this show. Im interested in adding a few to my lineup.

Outstanding! At 12:20 what are those? Look like purple strobing mines? Curious who makes that, I love that effect

Rich I've switched to using F3D this year. Looking to see how you feel about the lift time that F3D has for presets within the program. Do you adjust your product timing or do you just trust there math and program. As a new person with the program its close to what I normally use but it seems a little off. Thanks for your feed back

    • @richhagemeyer
      @richhagemeyer  หลายเดือนก่อน

It really depends product by product. Early on, the supplier catalogs weren't very accurate, though that was mainly on scale/size. I ended up copying a bunch of things into my own library and tweaking from there by comparing to videos I could find. More recently, the simulations seem to be much better. I'm definitely not one to fire a bunch of test product, and other than my basic check against videos, I've found timings to be close enough.

@@richhagemeyer I just ended up programming 2.25 for 62mm and 3” NOAB … more less guessing
Worse case it will brake a little early and the .25 will give it time to open up a little
As timing is so important in this year show I wish I had extra product to test with

@@ExtremeCrewFL There can also be variability year over year. I know this is a big deal for some folks, but I still like to think of my (~3k) in-person audience as my primary target and they're a lot more forgiving than TH-cam 🙂. Breaking early is definitely better than breaking late, so I think you have the right idea. My Dominator 62mm default to 2.46s and I have a new multi-color horsetail one from Pyroland this year that I built the simulation for and used 3.2s.

@@richhagemeyer Drew answer was to test everything but can’t really do that, don’t have the pockets for it. Are you on PT? Maybe easier? PyroFL here
