How do they smell after wearing them with no socks? I have another pair of barefoot sailing shoes that are similar, but after wearing them around they start to get pretty awful smelling making them unusable. Thinking about switching over to these.
Keivan Hirji if you wear them with out socks dry and sweat in them all day they won’t smell great, but all you have to do is wear them into water and let them air dry (which happens fast) and they’re good to go again
I do. I love them. I was wearing thin socks when I tried on and didnt think about that, I was just impressed that it felt like nothing. with thicker socks they are quite snug, so I take out the insole. The insole is a closed cell foam that does not sponge water, and the topside is textured much like a tread. This texturing holds your foot once standing and keeps you from slipping around the footbed when in water or climbing/ hiking. I wear them without insoles very often. unless youre hiking cobblestone or lava all day, its probably not an issue and definitely not an issue if youre fairly adapted to barefoot or minimalist soles. Great for travel since theyre light, foldable and take as much room in the pack as flip flops. I wear my boots, and pack these ones for the sake of packspace.

I've had mine same color for a while maybe 6 - 8 months now and I'd say they work well for the water. Gonna be ordering another pair soon.

what is the difference between the AC and M version? seems like there is a $15 dollar premium on the AC?
The AC are a bit lighter and more breathable because of the upgraded material on the uppers. Other than that they perform the same though :)

I agree, the footbed, or sole with it removed, and all the materials for that matter, are pretty non absorbent. a rinse and dry will do just fine.
use isopropyl alcohol, antiseptic.

Does brewer 2.0 use suprstiky rubber or g15?
It uses the G15. Only the hiyak and the rassler have the stickiest rubber to my knowledge.
