You can hear how tired they are at this boss when there is a small delay at the end and everyone thinks Blizz pulled of a Gul'dan

blizz 1: so what we do on mythic argus?
blizz 2: turn him red
blizz 3: and dont add any RP elements
Hes red so that means he goes faster
And drop an entire phase to make 4 phase encounter to 3 phase encounter.
I know heroic phase 3 was a bit boring but that doesn't mean they should just flat out delete an entire phase.
I believe he turns red because he was beginning to become possessed by Sargeras himself, idk about you, but that's an RP element.
Actually red is Argus' natural color. He breaks free of Sargeras' control at the end.

Dunno why , but I really love this fight, it just feels final... they bulled the boss out of their ass lorewise but it felt so epic

Great video. I think the first POV shown, and you clearly have all fantastic ones to choose from, should be someones UI that we can at least establish who pulled the boss, who the boss is focused on. The first POV in this video, I could not tell. I might be an idiot though... Great video, and congrats on World First!

Raphael Schmidpeter this boss looks harder on heroic lol. Obviously it isn't but visually and mechanically it looks simple. I'm sure damage taken is the real challenge.
The red circle debuff is just insane. It must be hard to deal with on it's own, but it probably also makes every other mechanic so much harder
As a tank,I'm more scared about the Soulrending scythe damage

he probably uses sunn viewport addon. you think he's covering up his screen on the bottom, but it's not, it's like a letterboxed viewport and all of those meters are actually not in top of anything.
He's their official RL and uses all those bars and meters.
That looks like a raidleader setup to me so he can track everything that is essential

Mike-Yilmaz Arslan your comment is a little bit old but yes, there is no add phase in mythic. After 40% the hidden (red) phase starts :) you have same rezzes in mythic as in normal or heroic. But on Argus mythic you need every cr for the tanks, it is part of the mechanic :)
Totally going to miss the Argus content and Antorus, from the looks of it BFA won't have anything compared to the magical feeling of these 2 areas (Except maybe Uldir and future content not yet known).

Just try a normal Antoran where no one knows pods. MYthic argus is a cakewalk compared to that.

I have a friend who switched to hunter this patch and his dps was retardedly high from ilvl 900 on.
Rogerbrown has played hunter since vanilla. I am pretty sure his gameplay is as close to perfection as it gets :)
Having played from vanilla doesn't mean he is good but his dedication to class and willingness to learn are what make him good

Idk I kinda wish this had you fight on sargarus back for the secret phase, where u have to tear off pieces of his armor then you push him into like a galaxy where he is getting sucked into a back hole where you have to kill his hands in order to weaken him enough for illidain to use the soul of Argus to push him into the void. Just sounds like an overall better fight to me. Probably would have been the best last boss ever if you think about it.
Thing is you, cant have paragon video for it so LK would be still better.
You described the last two encounters of the dragon soul during cata...Fight deathwing on his back tearing back armor to make him weak and then fighting his final grip from falling into the maelstrom. Not saying your idea isn’t cool but it’s already been done.

Christian Schluckebier na. That's just last two fights in dragon souls mixed with kolgarn from Ulduar. Coulda made it so we see sargeras in the background atleast, seeing. Him cast the abilities that have his name on them during the last phase.
