I can’t believe you haven’t done a flat out speed test on your bike yet! No WAY would I be able to resist if it was mine! Nice builds though man, really cool. I especially like your personal bike- the engine looks great 👍
Thank you for inspiration to build my own board track racer. I am using a 100cc two stroke engine, otherwise it will be very similar to yours. I have a small shop that build and sell motorized bicycles out of, but this will be the first board track racer.
I’m glad to hear that you’re inspired by some of my work. I’d love to see what you end up building. Feel free to message me on Facebook under EDG Classics anytime. Good luck!
Do you have a link to the free wheels you use for the drive systems? I know you said they came off an E-bike but is there a part number written on them?
I think it looks great. My only comment would be you might want to replace all the phillips head screws for slotted ... an easy fix and makes the impression better.
Funny that you mention that. I did change them on my personal bikes. Most people have no idea that the Phillip screw didn’t come out until the early 1930s.
Hi, love your bikes, am building one myself. Just hard getting any parts in UK. Can’t find. Carb adapter for my Honda CG 190 do you know a supplier who might have one . Many thanks. Steve.
I buy the frames. I’ve found that the frames made for motors are a little heavier and therefore a bit stronger. I’ve bought mine from Harken and Gas Classics.
Thanks! Actually, these are cruiser handlebars flipped upside down. I made the ones on my other bikes but these were factory made. If you can’t find any, let me know. I should have an extra set or two. Message me on Facebook at EDG Classics. Thanks!
@@jameskogler1504 it’s a personal preference thing. I usually like the patina look so I don’t mind a few scratches. Power coating would definitely be a stronger finish.
@@EDGClassics yeah you're right I love the patina look myself. But if I ever go to sell this bike I may have to repaint it again before I sell it? However I do love what you do with your bikes, the way you do the patina look is amazing because it looks like it just came from that time. All original paint. Now would a customer buy it like that? That's the question? How in liking is this kind of paint work? You know what I'm saying?
@@jameskogler1504 I’ve had a number of people want the patina look. I’m not selling them as originals but they look the part and to someone that is not familiar with the bikes, why crush the dream. Haha I probably have sold just as many patina bikes as I have clean and pretty bikes.
@@chassou2613 I’m glad I could help. If you have any questions, you can message me anytime. Message me on FB messenger and I can respond quicker. Thanks and good luck!

Beautiful!!
We need to see a review on that Indian Board Track Racer! It looks beautiful!
I’ll put that on the list! Thanks!
fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dude these are sweet and The Indian you built very good job on the paint job and making it look old
Thank you! I like the patina or survivor look so it works. Even the tank script is paint. I used a template my wife made for me.
Very nice build, look like a lot of fun!
Thank you!
Love it🔥

woah so cool!
Pretty cool 😎
Thank you!
I really like it.
Nice bike!

Honestly, the link changes every often because I’ll get them from eBay. Message me through Facebook Messenger and I’ll send you a current link.

250cc BSA unit singles would fit these bikes great and you could do a good 65mph on 4stroke volume levels.
Really nice I’m trying to build my own but I don’t know if I should start with a cruiser bike! Your bikes will truly help me a lot!
Let me know if you have any questions. You can always PM my EDG Classics Facebook page. I’m glad these videos help!
Supercool
Thank you!

Just curious are you buying the drop loop frames somewhere or modifying existing frames yourself?
I buy the frames. I’ve found that the frames made for motors are a little heavier and therefore a bit stronger. I’ve bought mine from Harken and Gas Classics.
Love the handle bars. Did you make them?

1913 excelsior board track racer
How do you brake?
This brake has a coaster brake, like the original bikes. On some of my others, I’ve installed a front drum brake and/or a band brake on that clutch.
Do you powder coat your frames or Parts or do you just use regular spray paint?
I usually just spray paint these.
The reason why I'm asking this question? Is I'm building a bike right now and I don't know whether to go with powder coating? Or just regular paint?

Are the wheels 26 or 28 inches ?
The wheels on this bike are 26.
@@EDGClassics thanks for your quick answer.
I'm from France and trying to make a boardtracker and your videos are very helpfull 👍

Would a 42 tooth sprocket work with this setup?
Yea it would. Your top speed would be higher but take off will be a little more sluggish.
@@EDGClassics Great Thanks!!
Eventually I will go with more teeth? but I'm just gonna use on what I have.
Bro, this engine same with honda gx200
Same concept but different mounting orientation.
Nice, video build this frame
My speak not good
Thank you
Are you planning on puttin on a straight pipe?
It’ depends on how long I have it. I like the straight pipe but I’m selling this one.
@@EDGClassics ah ok, fair enough!
Where do you get these frames from?
I get them from several places. This build is using a Harken Cycles Frame.
