ČZ 250/471 Custom Mk 1 + Mk 2

ČeZety 250 / 471 Custom z roku 1977 a 1980. Jedná se o modely Mk 1 a Mk 2. Motorky jsou čerstvě po dovozu z Velké Británie. Moji (zlatá Mk 1) čeká postupná renovace
CZ 250 / 471 Mk 1 + Mk 2. The gold one is Mk 1 from 1977 (471.3), and the red one Mk 2 from 1980. My bike is the Mk 1 -- it was bought in Newport in UK. It will be restored to the state of new bike during this winter.

For UK market only.
The Red one is actually a Mark.III as only these had the sloped tail piece.
The Mark.II. is similar to the Mark.I. except that it has sculpted (streamlined) side panels.
The Mark.I. and Mark.II. used the CZ Type 471 250cc Sport bike (85 MPH) whilst the Mark.III. used the detuned CZ 250 De Luxe bike (76 MPH).
There was also a Mark.IV. similar to the Mark.III. except used the CZ 250 single Type 485 bike. I have only ever seen one on the road in the UK.

There was also 1 x CZ 305 Custom Mark.III. built and it was owned by a girl, back in the 1980's. I have a few pictures of it taken at a JAWA / CZ rally in the UK.

@terence20001 Yes it will be restoration, because bike is in bad condition :-(. But the pros of it is the fakt, I will have something to work on during next winter. You know me and the fact each winter, one of my bike is overhauled :-) I liked this model for very long time, and know has opportunity to buy it.

There were also CZ 350 version but these were made to order. Only 6 x CZ 350 Mark.III. Customs were ever created (I own one) and these were not engine powere restricted as per the normal CZ twins.

@vqey2 I thing, that you still have possibility to buy one, in Czech republic it's impossible to buy one, so I had to import it :-)

I have just picked up a silver fleck Mk111 version with 2271 miles on the clock! I am a fan of European t/s, having a MZ TS250/1 and a nice old Excelsior 150 Universal ( see You Tube) Fortunately the special panels are as new and only the black paint on the frame will need reviving. Anyone got any info ? It has a 471.4 frame and a 623.6 engine. I can,t wait to get stuck in. The tool box stickers are still there under the panels Sport 250. VIN plate says 16.5bhp @ 5250 r/m
