And thats why they try to give you objections that let them say no over the phone. Like "let me think about it" or "let me talk to my husband then well give you a call"
Always make a friend. People buy from whom they like. Friends always help each other out. If they like you? They’ll tell their family and friends about you too. Teamwork makes the dream work!
100%. I always go look in person and noticed a major difference in accepted quotes from people I met at the time vs times when I used Google or didnt have a chance to meet them because they weren't home.
Austin, I totally agree with your view. As a homeowner, I want to know and hopefully build a relationship with the person I do business with. When you do a quick estimate over the phone or through email. They come out and even if they do a good job, two years later when you need your house rewashed, I might not remember who did the job and off to Google to find a different person or company. But if you have met, talked with, and built a little trust then your more than likly in the homeowners phone, or a mental note has been established and not forgotten. Most of all, and you didn't touch on this, you get so many more referals that way also. God Bless-Rick
I noticed the book by Tony Robbins called 'Unshakeable' behind you. I know he is an awesome motivational speaker! I live in the Tampa area(West Central Florida)and I'm looking to start a new pressure washing business soon. I've been watching yours and other business owners videos to find out how to begin. Thanks for what you do and the education you provide.
I'm 2 weeks into my handyman business. Got 3 calls for estimates sofar and each one I did in person and they accepted the estimate just because I showed up.
Actually had this happen last week. saw my reviews & was interested even talked on the phone but she wanted me to meet face to face & show me a few things around the house for the first time... Glad I did she showed me things to look out for & after I finished I also landed her mothers home in another County.🙂
Meeting new customers in person is key. Not everyone is someone you want to work for, and not every job is a pressure washing job just because a layman thinks it is.
how do you manage multiple businesses at once? do you feel like 1 of them will ultimately suffer since you only have limited time? i'm struggling with the same thing, just wondering what you do to manage both?
Also being there in person you get to see what's actually there and see stuff that satellite view misses or doesn't show you because it's a few years old or non-existent. So you get to charge accurately and have the ability to cross sale service you wouldn't have been able to see without being there in person. Like for Austin it helps with quoting window cleaning the most I'm sure.
The "package deal" definitely sounds like an American thing. Here in NZ if someone shows up to do a job and they say anything remotely close to trying to sell MORE services then you'll be turned away. I'm not knocking it, just pointing out a cultural difference.
Absolutely. I feel like it’s harder for some to say no face to face. Package deals are a game changer

@@tommyfischer4666 I definitely agree
I have a face that is east to say no to lol
I refuse to give quotes over the phone now. I’ve never lost a job with in person.
Austin, crushing it! Can’t imagine how long it takes you to edit and produce these videos for us to learn from. Thank you! Agree 100%
Thank you! It takes a lot of time lol…

It doesn’t matter what business your in, it’s ALL about customer experience. Great video.
I’m brand new and I 100% agree. It kinda sells itself to be honest. Well spoken and easy on the eyes helps as well. Good stuff buddy
Yes!! The transitions and b roll look incredible in this video! The thumbnail also looked good👍🏻
Thanks so much!!
By far best pressure washing TH-camr

I agree 100% AUSTIN. Remote quoting gets you less jobs

Every word you sad in the video is a "Pure gold" ** Thank you very much**
Thank you!!
Thank you! Great video
Call em out man i don't want to be listening to people giving me bad info
Everyone knows who they are…
Austin have you factored in time spent driving to/fro and doing the quote into your expected/required hourly from the job overall?
Yes because 9/10 times im going to get the job. Where as remote quoting its 50/50. Better to get the job.

I agree 100%
Right
