I really enjoyed the movie Overcomer and this was my favorite scene. This is the type of movies society needs especially the youth to empower them. I know who I am I AM A CHILD OF GOD 🙌🏾💖

Just saw the film with my wife a couple of nights ago. This moment made me cry, hearing this from a character established as an abandoned child, whose other outlet besides running, was theft. This made me cry, being in a season of discouragement - wondering about my ability to hear God to effectively lead my family among others, after multiple mistaken "readings," wondering if other "readings" had just been my own fallible ideas. This made me cry, showing the character's road to redemption, which was multi-faceted, unfolding a multi-level victory in the movie's story. This made me cry, hearing my past "readings" of God's personal messages to me, affirmed with words I had heard then, and therefore empowering me to believe again: that I am His son - chosen, royal, and holy; that I can -- I will overcome. The movie is a 2020 Godsend next to The Chosen (tied perhaps only with The Shift).
I couldn't see this movie years ago when I wanted to. It's good Friday today (year 2022) and I'm just seeing it. Indeed GOD makes all things perfect in HIS time. I wept through many scenes and I was blessed by them. This is more than a movie. I bless GOD for the life of everyone who was involved in this epic story! Putting the WORD out there without losing your audience is a great feat. Biggest bravo guys! GOD bless you. Amen

I truly love the end, this is also my favorite part, when she speeks about confusion & mixed messages from the world around her. I noticed it's the same with other movies you've done. I was able to rent/watch it at some time last year. But, not now? Although, I CAN watch it for free somehow through Facebook - or Gospel Knows. That just doesn't make any sense, does it? People who want to support you would rather pay to rent it than to watch it for free or buy it. Well, In My Humble Opinion, that is.

Great speech about her identity, but I'm sorry it is still in 'Christianese', and somewhat abstract..... We are created by God, but and so what/why? Life is not always fun n exciting. So what's the point of being created by God? Just wait for the next fun moment to come around? We have been "redeemed". What does that even mean? Do we still redeem things in the current age? Why did/do we need redeeming? Or was this movie for matured Christians only, or for the dramatic performance only?.....
God loves you the same as He loves everyone. Don’t allow the enemy to steal your peace and joy and security in God. The enemy only comes to steal kill and destroy (John 10:10) but Jesus came that you would have life in abundance!! Who the son sets free is free indeed. Jesus is calling you, you just have to respond and accept ❤️🙏
