    So good! This song is one of my favorites. Actually, the whole soundtrack is the bomb. It's so different from the original (Chrono Trigger), but it really stands so well on its own.

    This is absolutely beautiful! Tell me, Ace, have you ever thought about composing original work for video games? I feel like indie developers could use your talents. I know I would buy a game in a heartbeat if you were composing for it!

      Xeni Kobalt I am working on the soundtrack for a mobile game right now and I am always looking for more work! I would love to do more composing work for games.

      Ace Waters That's great to hear! You'll have to fill us in when or if you'll be able to in the future. :)

    O.O This is amazing. What was the Gameboy all about?

    • @AmieWaters
      @AmieWaters  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Dustin Larmand At the very beginning I forgot to cut the clip out, because I dropped the arpeggio for the first part. But when it comes back in, you can hear the arpeggiated chip-tune pattern, that is programmed in the gameboy by LSDJ.
      Try 0:49 to hear it.

    Hey Ace, not sure if it was mentioned anywhere, but I often see that gameboy being used in your videos. What do you use it for?

    some sounds are too sharp.
    6/10.

    • @AmieWaters
      @AmieWaters  9 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Nope. The nice thing about modern synths, the tuning is pretty much on point.

      Hugh Janus lol, they're synthesizers... they literally can't be sharp.
