hi i really enjoyed this video but i cannot find the videos on batman or batman beyond. also may i sujest doing a review on wonder woman tv series and the flash 1990. as they are both series i enjoy.
Actually they kept Jonathan Kent alive because they based the series on the John Byrne run in the comics where he was still alive, lex Luthor became an entrepreneur tycoon to name a few.
This show was my introduction to Superman and is the reason I'm more of a Supes fan than Bats. This show basically represents everything I stand for today.
I'd argue that Jonathan Kent not dying also happens in the Superman comic saga that rebooted the character in the 80s, the one by John Byrne. I get what you say tho, adding a tragic layer to Supes but it works both ways imo. Great video!

+Bane Knightfall static shock was the only one that after watching half of the first episode, abandoned it cause it was way too corny and had a real saturday morning for kids feel to it. Batman has a dark tone and is interesting even though for kids, they make it so no one ever dies in the show. While superman felt cool as well with space battles. and the justice league show puts everything together with loads of DC superheroes and villains with plenty of battles among friends and villains.

just bought Superman TAS the complte series i already have all the seasons of Batman TAS and the frist season of batman beyond i just need batman beyond seseon 2 and 3 and Justice League this and Smallville and the Richard donner movies are the best superman shows good review cant wait to watch Superman TAS when i get this in the mail aandawesome
John Kent doesn’t die until superman Brainiac in the comics he only dies before he’s superman in the movies. In the comics John Kent did not die until 2008. It’s not fundamental in who superman is as his character is not built on tragedy like batman. Batman was driven by tragedy and became the man he is because of the death of his parents and is defined as a Man by being raised by Alfred and LeslieTomkins after his parents death. superman on the other hand is not driven by tragedy and does not do what he does to make up for a loss or to deliver on a promise he made to his dead parents like batman but instead does what he does cuz he’s a gd person and was raised by gd ppl, he does what he does cuz his parents raised him to be kind and to do what is right as well as being his own man, superman chooses to be superman cuz he’s kind but batman on the other hand is batman because he believes that’s who he is deep down believing he has to eliminate criminals in gotham.
He also killed Mercy in Batman v Superman. And he killed Professor Hamilton in Man of Steel. He basically killed like a third of Superman's supporting characters.
I know this is controversial and I'm in the minority here but I like this show better than Batman:TAS. That's probably because I just like Superman a lot more than Batman but I honestly prefer this series over Batman's.
I think killing Superman without kryptonite would still be quite hard even in the show as he was still later on the justice league able to knock dark side around quite a bit. Except for the first season where a taser would knock him out
The thing that is special about superman is that no-one had to die in order for him to know that life is precious (AS OPPOSED TO LITERALLY EVERY OTHER SUPERHERO)
+Vernon Pillay despite popular beleif Jonathan Kent dying doesnt always happen, like its nearly impossible to read a story where Martha and Thomas Wayne dont die and Bruce still becomes Batman, regardless though, Clark already knows to do the right thing even before his dad dies (unless your Zac Snyder)
I thought Unity was a lot better then the Ras Al Goul episode. Although I really wish they'd give the female characters more personality. Most of the women were just knock offs of Lois Lane.

I have all of batman tas, superman tas, batman beyond and the movie, and all of justice league and unlimited plus the first two batman tas movies, mask of the phantasm and subzero. In my case my timmverse is complete.
aandawesome I don't really like static shock or the zeta project. I just purchased justice league unlimited on blu Ray. I also own every original DC animated movies except I need to get Wonder Woman.

Very underrated in my opinion. Overshadowed by Batman and Justice League.
This is one of my favorite DC animated shows. In fact nearly all the DC Animated Universe shows I love (expect for Static Shock which I haven't seen).

The "man" who voiced Granny Goodness was Ed Asner - a TV star fro the 70s and 80s.
Although I agree Granny Goodness never really did much I just loved her as a character. Everything else was spot on including Unity 😭
