The song 🎵 & flower 🌸🌸🌸 metaphorically describes suffering of Serbian nation. They suffered 5 centuries under Turkish occupation and managed to survive and save their identity. In WW1 1/3 of the population and 60% of male population was murdered by Bulgarian, German and Austrian army...and they didn't announce a capitulation but the nation, led by the king went in an exile via hostile Albanian mountains. After all the suffering between 1914-1918, they returned back victorious and liberated all southern Slavic nations (Serbs, Croats, Slovenians, Macedonians) and created a South Slavic land (Yugoslavia). Another genocide happened during WW2, more than 1 million Serbian people were brutally murdered in genocide, especially in the Jasenovac concentration camp 😪😪😪 Ramonda flower 🌸🌸🌸 symbolically describes Serbian nation ... they love freedom and will resist any Hegemon 🕊✌️ 🕊
This is the best Serbian entry since Molitva for me! A lot of people says it's "too boring & slow" for Eurovision, but in my opinion we should have atleast one of these type of songs every year.
Yes. I have that feeling also. She's alone on the stage, and everybody is feeling the song even if they don't understand it, it's a ballad with all of the fast songs this year, the vibe is awesome, with lights, smoke, and screen. Well done Serbia.
This purple dream is Eurovision winning material - not only because a ballad will absolutely stand out at Eurovision this year, but also because it represents the spirit of its country in a way that makes me shiver in front of this mesmerizing beauty!💜🪻🇷🇸 I do understand the profound meaning because I am half Croatian, but even if we don't look at borders and nations, "Ramonda" is a haunting mélange of velvety melancholia, spectral grace and deepest emotions! And there couldn't be a more suitable voice to share this multi-layered message with the entire world: Teya Dora is not only a heartwarming human being and exceptionally gifted artist, but has the ability to seduce the masses with a voice out of this world. Vocals and songs don't always need to be loud and sharp to cast a spell over the universe, and in this case a dark lullaby is predestined to make this world a better place. Ramonda only needs one drop of water to rise from the dead - and if we look at the current state of our world, a sweet masterpiece like this has never been more necessary than now. Like the flower itself, "Ramonda" grows and grows and grows with every single listen, its putting me in a trance at night and day, and I'm already sure that Teya's magic will heal all the suffering in the world in May. This entry fulfills me on the deepest possible level and it speaks to my soul as if it was born within me!💜🪻✨️🌙
By repeating of 'Ramonda' she calls out for Ramonda to appear.. The message can apply to all of us, to rise from every suffering and difficult life period and turn our weakness into strength, just as the Serbian people experienced recovery after great human losses during the WW1.
For those who (perhaps) don't know, the ramonda is our endemic flower species (Ramonda Serbica) and a symbol of the suffering of the Serbs in World War I against Austria-Hungary, i.e. Armistice Day (November 11, 1918) and the final victory. Ramonda is a symbol of Serbia, victory, rebirth and eternity. It is also called the phoenix flower, because it is specific in that it can dry up, and only one drop of water is enough to revive it completely. It was discovered by Josif Pancic in 1874, on Mount Rtanj, near Sokobanja. The song of Teye Dora has strong symbolism, good music with traditional (Byzantine and Serbian) elements, arrangement and text, and in the text I especially like the (Serbian) motifs of the star Danica and Ramonda, as well as the beginning, whose rhythmicity and parallelism are very they remind us of our folk (oral) literature. Not to mention her voice. PS. Armistice Day is a non-working day in Serbia, and it is also celebrated in Great Britain, Belgium, New Zealand and France, while it is "Remembrance Day" in the countries of the British Commonwealth, and "Veterans Day" in the USA.
Lila Ramonda is a phoenix flower which can even rise on ashes only when watered once. Stands for rebirth and hope and restart after hard times. Great meaning great song!❤❤❤
As a composer and a singersongwriter, this is a masterpiece and I am so happy that Teya will represent my country this year on Eurovision contest 🥹❤️ The song is just beyond beautiful 🌌 I am crying and without a second thought..this is a Winner

Thank you for the honest reaction from the heart. When it comes to real emotions, you don't even need to understand the language. Sending you all lots of love from Serbia!💖🇷🇸🌸🌸🌸🫶
With this beautiful song "RAMONDA", Teya Dora wants to show Europe the emotion and strength of the Serbian people. This is something completely new and fantastic. Sincerely from the heart 12 points. Bravo Serbia ❤
I really liked all your reactions ❤ i think you should continue to do eurovision reactions after all songs are released like reactions to rehearsals and then the real eurovision in may 🎉❤
This is so special song. She is singing about Lila Ramonda flower that grows in Serbia and it's kinda a fenix flower that can came back to life with only one drop of water. Its the symbol of surviving first world war in Serbia. Sea in the begining represents blue tomb where a huge amont of Serbian soldiers were buried (they throwed them in sea beacuse there was so many of them to bury) while traveling to seek refuge in Greece Corfu. Song is so beautiful.
The title of this song references a flower known by its latin name "Ramonda serbica", an endemic species that only grows in serbia, which is known for its ability to completely dry out and still revive once it gets water, a flower that can straight up come back from undead. Very similar to Ramonda Serbica is Natalie's Ramonda, flower of the same genus, In Serbia it's known as "Natalijina ramonda" named after the XIX century Serbian queen Natalija Obrenovic and it's used as a symbol of peace after WWI. In Serbia, to mark this day we wear a phoenix flower - Natalie's Ramonda, capable of resurrection, just as Serbia after WWl, in which it lost almost 1/3 of people.
She singing about special plant that can grow even in rock. Which can sprout again even if someone physically destroys it. That plant grows only in eastern Serbia. This girl is from that regioon.
The Natalie's Ramonda flower possesses a remarkable ability to revive even when fully dehydrated and demonstrates adaptability to harsh environments. As a result, this plant bears national symbol in Serbia, reflecting the resiliance of the Serbian struggle in World War I and symbolizing the rebirth and revival of the country.
Natalia's Ramonda🪻 This endangered plant grows in the east of Serbia and on Mount Kajmakčalan, where the Serbian army under the command of Duke Živojin Mišić fought fiercely against the Bulgarian forces during the preparation of the breakthrough of the Thessaloniki front, the prelude to the liberation of Serbia in the First World War. Natalija ramonda is also called the "phoenix flower" because, when the dry period comes, it lies dormant and dries up, only to turn green again with the first rain. In Serbia, it is worn as an emblem on the lapel during Armistice Day in the First World War and reminds us Serbs of the of sacrifice we made as a nation.🇷🇸☦️🪻☦️🇷🇸

It's probably gonna win this year's Eurovision through Jury votes! Would be fine, it's the only song I got goosebumps from so far. 😍🌸
