for all those misinformed ppl out there. David Belle did not invent parkour. He invented the NAME parkour. Not the sport. Parkour has been around for a very long time. David Belle and Foucan just took it and gave it a name and gave the moves names. He even said it himself in one of his interview vids

But reality always brings me back... he returns to a hectic and violent way of life as to the peaceful and silent world he dreams of. in the end he says I breathe.I imagine.I am in a better world...or at least, that`s what I thought. His dreamworld coexists with the pre-reality and he must fight again to bring peace to it.
I'm not sure (this is my own interpretation) but I believe the purpose of this is to show that there cannot be a "better world". If there is, it is one without human beings (for even in DB's dream, that's where the problem is coming from)

J'en suis pas trop sur, mais je pense que le film montre que la nature humaine fait en sorte qu'il n'y ait pas de "monde meilleur" (car même dans le rêve de DB, les hommes restent le problème)
uhh, have you done any research, it was started over a hundred years ago by Georges Hebert. he was a former naval officer before WW1, he traveled around africa and saw the way the native peoples behave and acted in life, when he returned to france ha became a gym teacher and later developed the origins of parkour.
i gathered its David. but i dint understand the transitions between the grass land and the fight scenes. why did he keep changing? and what does it all mean? so it dnt really make me a loser lol.

This is actually intended as French comedy. The problem was Jerry Lewis wasn't available. Admit it, it would have been hilarious if the Belle knew how to make "crying" noises like Lewis during those cartoon moon walks. "Waaaaaaaaaaaahhhh!"
it is a very sureal moment, im sure it is really like that in the line of fire, everything is just very sereal in slo motion!1 like as if you are not there, escaping your mind to somewhere else, then snapping in and out back to actuality!1
that was a great mini movie. Loved the music, the action was intense, and godam David Belle, you are amazing. Greatly enjoyed this movie.
