Based on the community expressing concerns, law enforcement discovered evidence of him with apparent blood spatter on him (cocaine on nose in stream) and other evidence consistent with murder such as healing injuries or possession of victim property (his ridiculous stream right before the arrest) and a witness stating his involvement in the murder (Aaron's statements). Based on that, the police get a search warrant signed by a judge and they execute the search warrant to find the dead victim (4 kids inside the home) and apparent instruments of murder (grams of coke, shell casings used to ingest coke, paraphernalia, unsecured weapon, drug users such as Kayla and April, the home in disarray, etc). The medical examiner then gets involved to determine cause of death and determines how the victim died and that it was consistent with murder (9 year old testing positive for coke). That's the case. I likely left out some facts and someone might disagree with whether the "government" (as Nick likes to whine about) has met their burden but the point is that his analogy of his case to a murder case with no evidence does not make sense and demonstrates that's he's really bad at this.
