  • The 'Hollywood Bandit' was one of the most prolific bank robbers in America, thought to have targeted more than a dozen banks in Seattle. The bank robber was a master of disguise as he donned Hollywood quality theatrical make-up, earning him the name 'Hollywood Bandit'. The FBI, working with local police and the Seattle SWAT team, launched a manhunt that would lead to a shootout with the robber.
The FBI Files is an American television docudrama series. Each episode describes actual FBI cases which include murder, narcotics, bank robberies, and kidnapping as well as other crimes. These are portrayed through dramatic reenactments and interviews with agents and forensic scientists who worked on the investigations.

He was no legend. Hollywood aka Scott Scurlock was a loser. He was also a spoiled brat his entire life. When the Police finally caught him, he took the cowardly way out by taking his life.

very sad that greed overtook him, he had a good 20 acre property with the tree house, with the money he robbed, he should have retired and live a simple and quiet life!

A few weeks after Hollywood was dead, 2 men showed up at the Bistro restaurant bar in Seattle and gave the 2 bartenders 5k each, Hollywood has a will and left his favorite bartenders money. This was told to me by those bartenders, who were indeed great.

@@mariatorres5563 It's a small world. I was at Evergreen State College while Scotty was there. I was falling for a young woman at the time and thought it was mutual. One day she just changed as if from the inside out. She said she had met this guy who had a kind of charisma she just couldn't resist and it was over between us.Scotty was the one guy on campus I was uneasy with my my friend who was a waitress at a local restaurant mentioned Scotty had tipped her a hundred bucks. That was a crazy amount of money so I thought he must have something on the ball. He was using our school chemistry lab to make drugs. No one figured it out at the time. That tree house was beautiful. I totally believe the bartender story.

Say what you want but that man at least had principles. If he didnt stand for anything, he wouldn't have left anyone anything but thats not what the man did. He cared beyond just his own life obviously to write up a will and have people who are decent enough and themselves think highly enough to honor his request and not pocket the $.

Having ones trigger finger placed on the side opposed to in the guard is not specifically trained to cops.. thats just trigger discipline. A lot of individuals who often handle forearms also demonstrate good trigger discipline as well. I think that was a lucky guess from the detective as an idea to try.
