Hi Manish, thank you for this video.
you explained well the functions of those command and not letting us copy and execute without knowing what is the uses for each. you gained a sub from me.

Can you guide me how to expdp/impdp for multi files dmp multi tables ?
ex: table1.dmp - table 1 only

sir gant access to HR user is necessary . cant we export using sys user ?
Hi Manish, I am not sure if I can ask this for you but it would be really grateful if you have any answer of my question. I did full database using expdp following your description and got some error like this :
ORA-39014: One or more workers have prematurely exited.
ORA-39029: worker 1 with process name "DW00" prematurely terminated
ORA-31671: Worker process DW00 had an unhandled exception.
ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [qctchr : bfl], [400], [100], [1], [846], [1], [0], [], [], [], [], []
ORA-06512: at "SYS.KUPW$WORKER", line 1714
ORA-06512: at line 2
Hi manish. first at all thank u From Colombia for this tutorials.
I have one question. If I have a .dmp bk that was taken from the exp command (not expdp) , I wanna know the differences with expdp and also if this contains all data from db. Specially When I see the log file I can see clearly that the tables were exported with synonyms,views,store procedures..etc.. but I cant see the table spaces and schemes
My concern is that right now Im implementing a test envoirament from scrath (I just isntall oracle following you tutorial) and they ask me to restore this .dmp backup in this new server. I saw the .bat file that they use for the backup and they use exp tool with this syntax:
C:\app\user\product\11.2.0\dbhome_1\BIN\EXP USERID=User\pwd@instance file=D:\bkoracle\oracle001_xxx.DMP log=D:\bkoracle\oracle001_xxx.LOG buffer=2000000 owner:User
can I restore using expdp tool and all the db will be complete ?
good tutorial
it’s the same export dump file?
Thanks
Manish can you Make same video with pluggable database as i am getting error using expdp with pluggable database
I got this message:
Connected to: Oracle Database 11g Express Edition Release 11.2.0.2.0 - 64bit Production
ORA-39002: invalid operation
ORA-39070: Unable to open the log file.
ORA-29283: invalid file operation
ORA-06512: at "SYS.UTL_FILE", line 536
ORA-29283: invalid file operation
How to solve it?
is it for sql developer also
I am trying to run export (expdp) in a Windows environment, and I am getting these errors:
ORA-39002: invalid operation
dbms_datapump.get_status(178...)
ORA-39002: invalid operation
ORA-39070: unable to open the log file.
ORA-29283: invalid file opertion
ORA-06512: at "SYS.UTL_FILE", line 536
ORA-29283: invalid file operation
same issue, how did you resolve it?
Hi Manish , im using 12c when im going to Export getting this error ORA-12154: TNS:could not resolve the connect identifier specified.... please advice me
Check the name of your global_variable by using the command:
select * from global_name;
and use it in place of orcl in hr/hr@orcl.
I am getting below issue after running :
expdp hybris63/hybris64@XE DIRECTORY=orcl_obj DUMPFILE=orclfull.dmp LOGFILE=full_exp.log FULL=YES;
UDE-12545: operation generated ORACLE error 12545
ORA-12545: Connect failed because target host or object does not exist
sir ji dba 2 ka RMAN,FLASHBACK, DATAGAURD PERFORMANCE TUNING bhi tutorial BANAO PLEASE BRO
Yo man good
LRM-00105: 'YES;' is not a legal Boolean for 'full'
Everything is as per the video but why this error is coming ?
Try putting FULL=YES after log in credentials
I got a
TNS error : UDE-12170: operation generated ORACLE error 12170
ORA-12170: TNS:Connect timeout occurred
To solve this, just remove the '@ORCL' part from the expdp (when working on the dbserver)
C:\>expdp system/admin1234@XE DIRECTORY=sam DUMPFILE=xefull.dmp LOGFILE=samxe.log FULL=YES;
LRM-00105: 'YES;' is not a legal Boolean for 'full'
any idea?
I'm facing the same problem as like Sayma. @Manish, could you please help us here? Thanks in advance!
try C:\>expdp user/password@host/servicename full=Y DIRECTORY=orcl_full DUMPFILE=orclfull.dmp LOGFILE=full_exp.log;
how import please full
its says internal error
good tutorial,
I have this inconvenience "ORA-39126: Worker unexpected fatal error in KUPW$WORKER.FETCH_XML_OBJECTS"
Import video.
Yes pls do make 'em ...need whole db refresh video,if possible.
