If you dont like this version its probably cause you're simply not into atreyu. Alex did himself justice on this. Its an "epic cover", not "epic remastered".
Everything but the main vocals sounds like a fantastic heavy cover. The strained vocals and "bleh" just... they just don't work for me. Backing vocals are find though, just feels like it missed the mark just barely. It's so close to being really awesome. But it's not quite there.
