How to carry out a Supercharger Service on an R53 / R52 Mini Cooper S which should be done at 100k miles. Update - I mention an 'oil pressure sensor' - this is actually a Crank Sensor.
Why This Video is Important:
The Eaton supercharger fitted to this engine was, when new, deemed sealed for life, this was later updated to need a service at 100k miles. I have serviced superchargers at 70k and there has been no oil left in the water pump PTO and in one or two cases I have had superchargers with the water pump PTO bearings in powder meaning we had to replace the supercharger.
