Hi. My 10 year old girl just watching this video. She just crochet her first Barbie doll clothes yesterday. She has had an interest in knitting a sweater for some time. So hopefully in my lifetime she does complete a sweater. I love watching your videos. We live in Alaska.

I watched your blocking video after taking a Kristen Myrmel Norwegian sweater class (she included the link with her instructions) and I saw your beautiful armhole facings...so happy you are sharing that here today...I did not realize it was machine sewn.

I really got a tonne of knowledge from these tutorial videos! I'm thrilled to be able to "custom fit" a garment to someone now as opposed to having to increase and decrease and then it doesn't fit my husband because he's tall. 6'4" and I have to alter all the patterns and this just works so much better! No more guessing games trying to fit and tailor.

Arne & Carlos would you consider adding a tutorial about different methods of picking up stitches for different yarn weights and garments?
Such as picking up on horizontal edge, vertical edge, curved edge, any topstitching methods where a strong clean line is important, and different considerations for bulky yarns?
The perfect neckband continues to elude me. Thank you as always for sharing your knowledge!

I’m a big fan of both of you. I’ve been knitting off and on since I was a teenager. After watching your TH-cam videos, I have been inspired to take another go at knitting a sweater for myself. Previous attempts have been epic fails for various reasons: poor fit, saggy yarn. It was discouraging to invest considerable time and materials and not have a good result. Do you have a favorite beginner pattern or set of instructions?

Can you steek to fix a knit that was joined in the round twisted (making the knitted item a mobious strip)? It makes sense to me in theory, but I have never tried it and wanted to know your thoughts. I have a test knit I am partially through. I noticed early on that it had a twist in it and I didn't care because it is just a test to see if my colour pattern looked right. However, I realized if it wasn't twisted I could actually use it for something. I was thinking of just reinforcing it, cutting it, twisting it to lay flat and sewing it back up. What do you both think?

What if you have a pullover that you bought in a store but think it would look better as a cardigan. Can it be steeked?
