Hi Michael, I did go down with the GoPro, it did work ok though there were no salmon to be seen and I wish I had took my trout rod with me as there were a few trout rising.. All the very best Davie
lovely looking fly Davie and hope it was successful! :). Quick question on tying in the hackles - I see you tied them in by the stalk end rather than the tip, was there any particular reason - maybe to give a more swept back profile?
Hi Andrew, I was using Chinese cock necks which have a lovely soft fibre at the bottom and the stems on these feathers are perfect to tye with as they are nice and thin..I went down but there were no signs of any fish so hopefully next time, I only wish I had took my trout rod with me as there were some trout rising..
