The most important detail everyone missed is how Manav realises that he has lost Aisha forever. For years he took her for granted, forced her to bend to his will, made her take permissions for her basic rights and every inch of his arrogance and ego shattered within a few minutes when her dad stood up for the first time.
The only important detail everyone missed is Priyanka just wanted to hop in bed with her ex. Nothing to do with Manavs behaviour. He was a good husband and him and his mom are trying to sort things out. She didn't love him. Understandable.

Behaved how a real protective father should behave and stand for his daughter and protect her, defend her. No father and brother can or should tolerate abuse of their daughter or sister. Good to see Anil regretted getting his daughter married to that crap family. Galati kai saal pehle ho chuki thi. All real dads and brothers should be like this.
Ranveer is great in this scene, but Rahul and especially Mr Kapoor are PHENOMENAL!
This movie has a next level sarcastic streak and witty humour. Always a favourite. Love Zoya Akhtar and her works.
The best thing about her work is she uses witt as a weapon
Which is amazing
I couldn't even imagine how ranveer managed not to laugh saying those lines, what a perfect timing man😂❤
The way ranveer was supporting his sister❤️
Praan tyaag dungi 😂😂50 Rupay kaat overacting ka !
Chal be kuch naya line bhi bol lo😂

My parents supported me when I said I want to get a divorce, the problems are in every class, the patriarchy, the yelling, the abuse which women have to keep quiet, but she takes a stand for herself.... This movie is so close to my heart, especially this scene. Although it took time for the families to understand, my in laws were yelling the same way the in laws in this movie yelled. And it was my dad who said " let's leave, my daughter won't ever come back to this filthy house. I'm taking her with us"
There are women also who abuse their husbands mentally or have affairs
Lucky💟
✨✨
You have a great dad. You are lucky to have such a family
@@MusaiftekharNot nearly as frequently and as badly as men do to their wives. Look up basic statistics.
Your comment is stupid and comes across as you implying that women should put up with all that torture and bs because you feel as if they deserve it.
Zoya is one of the few directors in the world who understands human emotions, reactions and complexities very well and knows how to portray it on screen
Yea we saw that in Archies as well....... xDD.....
Lol
This is how every family should stand for her daughter.
Solid Scene... Av Har Baap ko Apne Haq se Kahna Chaiye...

No one can beat Anil Kapoor's intensity in such powerful scenes. The pain in his eyes before complete rage. No wonder he is a living legend.
This scene creates a pit in my stomach, I do not have a brother or a father.
And a romantic relation is normally quite different when a guy jumps in thinking mera kon kya bigad lega.
Incredible piece of art.
A protective father or brother are a blessing. I hope you have some other protective figure in your life. Or some trusted elder to stand for you
What a father 🥰
Every girl deserves a father who can stand up for his daughter...
Watching this scene again after becoming dad to two amazing girls; can relate soo well to the emotion portrayed by AK .. omg goosebumps
2:15 👏😭❤️❤️Anil's perfect acting,a Dad's love is unconditional towards his daughter💯
Ufff the fatherly roar..
2:29 NOW that's a Bollywood family
What a mix of emotions in just 3 minutes. Every character brings different emotion in you. Such an underrated movie it is.
@@priyanshiengineer6862 Only a fool would invest in father in-laws business. Anil Kapoor had the worst relationship with his wife. Who in their right mind would want to be so close to them in business. As for the mocking. It's Excuses excuse. Little things people pick on when they want to leave. There was other way of sorting it out or just leave the marriage . Manav decide to give on the relationship and his back she wanted to get with him again.
Rahul Bose, what a phenomenal actor 🔥
Watch vishwaroop & you'll forget this!
This. Rahul Bose has done a fabulous job. I absolutely hated him and that is testimony that he was so good that we believed him to be a chauvinist pig
And also watch chain kulii ki main kulii
That "Oyee" at 1.58 is deadly👌👌...brothers are always protective no matter wht..🤗🤗
I just love the way Shefali Shah's expression changes and Kabir jumps in when Manav starts forcing Aisha. My favorite scene of the movie!!!
I haven't seen this movie...just found this video under recommendations and now I'm watching this nonstop for the past few years....its so good..
Such a perfect scene 👏🏼 Anil Kapoor’s face and expressions spoke millions in every second
This was unlike most 'upper-class-mirror' films in Hindi. I love DDD. Saw it twice on the big screen and many more times later. This scene, to be specific, is where it explodes. DDD is such a beautiful take on the fact that, as someone here mentioned, 'money and luxury doesn't guarantee happiness', and that we're kind of all the same, irrespective of our class. All of us face similar problems, and all of us have the same way out of it!
2:35 hats off for majnu bhai
2:18 damaad ki halat khasta ho gyi hai😂😂😂😂
This movie had so many epic scenes! Everyone gave a stellar performance. A movie that can be enjoyed many times over.
This movie is truly an genuine directors cut
I just pray this comment reaches to gods ears - “Zoya please make second part/sequel of this great movie”
Not everyone is blessed with such a family, who rescues you and protects you like this.
Those who have this, cannot begin to imagine how lucky they are.
"Dil Dhadakne Do" is one of the most underrated film ever !
Anil Kapoor that intensity from Beta came rushing through he still has it! Superb performance
“auntie yeh butter knife hai”😂 How certain parents try and interfere in their child’s marriage and emotional blackmail is like their weapon
Best brother dialogue I saw. I would defend my sister that way as well.
People who hate this movie literally have no taste. This is one of the best films ever made in Bollywood cinema.
This is one of the best scenes ever made in any film.
Being a father of a daughter...the Fierce 🔥🔥🔥 I can understand the reaction of Anil Kapoor 👍👍
01:55.....
Oye! easy h tigerrr
I really like this movie a lot. Specifically the siblings equation of Ranveer and Priyanka. They were so natural.
Dude this scene is amazing from the comic timing to the reaction
1:07 ranveer ❤❤❤
I love how brother stands for his sister 🥺
Exceptionally well enacted by all the stars especially Ranveer Singh and Anil Kapoor .. it feels really positive to see the real family men standing up for their ladies.. we need more men like this in India. This is the best family movie in today's time. P.S. I am proud to have my dad as a Rockstar ❤️
There is nothing more beautiful in this world than someone having your back
So true😊
Length wise ki comedy is good but nobody is asking ki usko pata kaise tha 😳
I was thinking the same thing.
He probably tried to attempt suicide someday looking at their family condition.
@@hriddhisrichowdhury7545 Who tried to commit suicide? 🤔 kya ho rha hai idhar APNE toh kuch palle hee nhi pada..
Length wise ka matalab kya hai, perpendicular or parallel, agar perpendicular bola to wo help kar raha tha, nahi to wo sarcastic tha
@@gopaljeesharma2406 kabir probably tried to attempt suicide ya phir aise hi tana maar kar bol rha tha. Kyun ki yeh film mein nhi dikhaya gya hai toh khud ki probablity nikal sakte hai.
I love this movie, it shows us the problems which are ignored at first but gradually leaves any relation loveless and people distant...
