Sandra aur Papa ko tourist Visa mein dhakke nahi khilwaane the. Tourist Visa ke case mein itna zyada optimism leke plan mat banaya karo kabhi bhi. Keep things simple. SIr ji marriage register karane ke liye jo document govt se aana hai uske aane koi expected date hai hi nahi.. 1 month 2 months 4 months 6 momths.. Can take anything. And when you are a daily vlogger.. it is not simple and easy to do planing with major uncertinities. Besides we have to see weather also.. It make sense to leave Canada in winter and come to India even if you have to exit the country 3 times and come back because as a vlogger one month you show India. then 2 weeks some nearby country and then India back again :-) In today's time you can only hope that your plan will not be affected by COVID but reality is.. you never know.. and that's not just covid.. that is life too :-)
Mohit, my spouse came to India in November 2021. She applied for X Misc visa, got it for 3 months, We registered our marriage under Special Marriage Act and now we are waiting for long term visa for Entry for her under visa conversion/extension.
Lack of planning or should I say bad luck. Marriage ceremony in grand style is not possible in present scenario due to prevailing situation in NCR or all over the country. Only 20 guests ate allowed in Delhi.
What I gathered from your vlog of today, I would suggest you to go back to Canada with your family and let Mommyji remain here for medical check up with her sister. She can come back to Canada once it's over. You enjoyed with your friends, your family had a glimpse of India during their short stay. Be happy with that and don't look at the financial loss you suffered. Pl don't be disheartened and continue your good work .

Well Mohit must have already thought on this option, but buying a used car then sale it off after use can be a viable option for a long trip than renting a self driven rental car that may come up with hidden overheads. With chauffeur driven car can also be an option but disadvantages are driver will occupy a seat and other concerns.

Consequences of poor planning and over expenditure on non-essential stuff
Denmark is the perfect place to get your marriage official registered for foreign nationals. Then get your your marriage certificate apostille and it make the document internationally recognised according to hague convention. Then apply for spouse visa in Indian embassy of Canada and come to India.

I am in world affairs for a while now, according me there is recent diplomatic conflict between India and Canada so rn India authorities is having very strict behaviour for Canadian nationals.
This might be a reason behind your problem. But after all government knows very well about what they are doing.
The Indian Embassy in UAE is correct………..all visas have to be applied in the country of origin ! I remember visiting my siblings in the US , but when the time came to visit Canada for a short trip from US…….I was denied visa on the same basis. They said if I needed to visit Canada , then I needed to go all the way back to India and apply for the visa ! Mohit has some added complications on top of that regulation, unfortunately !

You normally take decisions in a very haste manner and don’t do proper homework ever. All these processes are worked out before which you normally don’t work prior.
Same point I feel always. He is in big problems due to everlasting haste and a general sense of casualness towards life. He does blunders because of the above. I am an active viewer since 1.5 years and all problems have arised because of avoiding processes and bypassing critical information. I feel pissed off and angry on this guy.

When I registered my marriage in 2013, you had to file your special marriage application with both spouse details and ID proof. After 30 days (this is the minimum time required where they put the notice etc) we could go and get the certificate by signing along with 3 witnesses. I was told after the 1 month notice period is over, you have to come within 3 months with your witnesses to get your marriage certificate else your application gets closed. Before Sandra comes, you can put in the application, wait for a month and then call her down to India to sign the certificate. Best to contact a lawyer for latest procedure. He can file the papers for you at the sub-registrar office. While filling the application, we had to sign. May be Sandra doesn't need to be there in person while filling. She will have to be there in person for signing on the marriage certificate along with 3 witnesses.
