And there is so little promotion or enthusiasm for kickboxing, which is a lot more spectacular too... K1 in Japan stopped but too bad there isn't much that is replacing it, glad there is still Glory but you can't really call it a world known organisation, it all stays pretty small... Kickboxing kinda died, also in Thailand not many fighters are still fighting for "honor" in those legendary stadiums, though there isn't much money to be made there but still...
Its because casuals don't watch fights, they watch stories. Thats why WWE is so big. When the fighters stop being martial artist and become protagonist in their own stories, ppl will start watching their sagas unfold.

What fight were the commentators watching?. I watched this fight and it looked close. I just rewatched it with the sound on and from the sound of it Robin died in the ring.
RvR looks pretty one-dimensional here, just covering up and walking forward. Petrosyan is a great fighter, but he looks especially good here giving that his opponent is just marching forward zombie-like.
Would be a good fight. The left kick might be too much but Petrosyan would tag yod all day. Petroysan might be the sharpest kickboxer ever, his movement is the best ever at that weight range. Yod would win by Ko or Petrosyan on points.
