I think at the end of the day this entire thread is forgetting that HIP HOP was created by dark skinned Caribbeans in New York slums during the lates 70’s early 80’s. At this time African Americans as well as dark skinned Latinxs had literally nothing. All we had was our culture and each other. This culture originated in West Africa and spread throughout the US. I say that to say this if you notice an underrepresentation of actual Black people in BBOY and someone post something to give that representation back to that community, why go straight eBoy and shit on the man’s set? That’s classless and ignorant. @stance THANK YOU FOR REPPING THE CULTURE!!!

Hip hop was created in the 1960s by Foundational Black Americans. Jamaicans were vibing to reggae music. This has already been proven and packed away. Good grief.
I do respect the dj for dropping this joint , its been since 2009 first time I heard it and in 2010 I found it , it won't be good to share the name coz it will lose its value , just enjoy the video
I understand what you mean, but the way I see it, what you give, you give to yourself, What you do not give, you give up. Mu Africa by the Rift Valley Brothers
This is Afro Beat which is west African funk music from the 60-70’s (think Fela Kuti). Afro BEATS is the current iteration of west African music though mixed with a lot more electronic elements (eg amapiano). Hope this wasn’t too confusing of an explanation.
Did not expect to hear my native language (kikuyu from Kenya) with that boom bap beat🔥🔥 whoever mixed it is a genius
Its not a sample...Its an original song by "The rift valley brothers" 🇰🇪🇰🇪
I enjoy watching his flow even if it’s not everyone’s fav respect the dancers they work hard
Do you dance as well?
Musicality, flavor, attitude, and maad toprock. Every aspect haters want to skip, but it holds as much weight as power moves and freezes.
Even Storm and Renegade couldn't help but smile at that showing!

Nah we watch it for good breakdancing fuqboi
His breakdancing honestly wasn’t that great. He needs more practice and needs to stay on beat. It was sloppy

The language being sang is in Kikuyu one of the major tribes in Kenya🇰🇪 mixed with modern beats thus bringing the afro in the song.
