    Superb presentation sir. the last response is about what happens when you sing internalizing the meaning..... provides the original objective of life!

    மிக அற்புதமாக விளக்கியிருக்கிறீர்கள். மிக்க நன்றி . As you remarked, we all think about whether the composer thought so deeply, or it just happened. You have a very good explanation that God chooses the vehicle... Like wand chooses the wizard...

    An eye opener! Such a wealth of information! The next time we listen to these kritis, it will be so much more meaningful! If only this kind of background...were available behind every kriti in Carnatic music! We would enjoy it even more! Vijay Siva sir, thanks so much for making this available to us!

    Such a good lecture sir. Thank you. I do have one observation: the compositions on Thiruvanaikaval are both in North Indian ragas ( for lack of a better word) - Yamuna and Joojayavanthi/ Dwijavanthi.

    Wonderful effort by the dedicated musical genius but bit more effort could have gone into the spiritual aspects of the lyrical splendor.

    As we all know Tyagaraja had his students documenting all his compositions but in the case of Deekshitar who was a traveller too who was documenting these songs ?? Deekshitar himself or his students??

    You could have added that at Arunachala Amba did penance with Gautama Maharshi as Guru and attained Oneness with Him to become Ardhanarisvara. More than sringara the aspect of Shivasakti aikyam is more apt here.

    Great lecture - unravelling lot of hidden meanings :) - "Chodyam" in Ananda natana prakasam - Chodyam means question or inquisitiveness both in Sanskrit and Malayalam :). Utharam is the answer if I'm not mistaken , Sir

      Chodyam is a wonderful object, not malayalam word which means a question.

    • @satheeshiyer
      @satheeshiyer 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@tyagarajakinkara well chodyam is indeed a malayalam word - maybe it means wonderful object in another language

    • @tyagarajakinkara
      @tyagarajakinkara 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@satheeshiyer it's basically a Sanskrit word which means wonder, there's a method called artha viparinamam. One word's meaning becomes other in other language, so the change, pramadam in Tamil is fantastic but in Telugu it's danger, likewise sneham in Telugu Kannada Tamil is friendship but in Malayalam it's love, having said that Malayalam has a less vocabulary.

    It is not Ekambra Nathar....it is Ekamra Nathar...Amara is mango...Ambaram is clothe...perhaps we can call Palani Murgan as Ekambara nathar as he has a single cloth, Koupeenam....so it is Ekamra and not Ekambra....Sanskrit words should be properly pronounced

    Many vidwans sing Advaitha as Dwaitha in Aananda Natana Prakaasham. Even dancers show their abhinaya as dwaitha when dancing for this song.

    • @Leukoguy04
      @Leukoguy04 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Actually its advaitha
      Muthuswami dikshitar says this tn kamalambam bhajare pallavi. And in maye twam yahi composition
      Not dvaitha

    So need for one by one yatra panninala or pona podhu padinala an all.
    Mumukshu ku everything a open book
