      @christopherhannotte2086 2 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Just different series of machines, not really an upgrade. The 3420 Bourgault are the fold-back series, Mitchells run 3320s which fold normally.

    • @chadkubashek4622
      @chadkubashek4622 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Yeah these are entirely different machines from mikes, the 3320 s that mike runs are one of the best drills on market very proven strong and reliable, these style of drill I haven’t seen to much of out our way.

    • @themannwithaplan
      @themannwithaplan 2 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      same version different size, and with the bigger size a different folding mechanism is needed. mike has talked about why he doesnt go to the 100ft and its mainly the conditions of the Saskatchewan farming and tractors just arent big enough yet... sask is also very hilly ( i know everyone thinks its flat... its really not) and with hills like that he has a very different dirt type up there. montana is very dry and getting grip isnt really an issue so pulling a 100ft is doable, in sask the dirt is... wet and slimy and takes a massive beating from the ground freezing and defrosting over and over with it being so cold. in mikes words "to go up to a 100ft bourgault we would need a tractor upwards of 750-800hp and twice the weight or else we would just sit still treading mud on the first hill" obviously a bit overexaggerated... like the mike we know and love.... but thats his reason for keeping his drills the size he does. i 100% can see him upgrading in the future tho when tractors get just a smidgen bigger... cuz right now even when he ran case 620's they can hardly keep up with his 76 foot drills when they hit a hill... a 100 foot drill would be a nightmare.
