I am rebuilding the exact same tractor now during this shutdown. I am a bit ahead of you as I have rebuilt the rear and now tearing the engine down now. I am taking the exhaust manifold off now and it is completely corroded. Any advice on taking it off without shearing bolts? Please keep posting.

Whilst in the Royal Air Force during the 1980's we used the diesel variant of the MF50 fitted with a front fork lift to load and transport munitions. If you forgot the key you could use the engine oil dipstick instead. It fitted in the key slot perfectly. Regards Paul Fowell.

Great tractors, hopefully someone by now has told you not to run a multi grade oil, it has detergent in its composition. RUN NON DETERGENT 30 weight, it can start cleaning, if the engine continues to on 15w40 or similar oils. Engine will start to smoke. Buy an owners and repair manual.
