Great vids! Love the Channel. But if you were Wizards of the Coast, you would do exactly what they do, what we all would do. You’d be in your Yacht, a few hundreds yards from your private pier, big mansion in the background. You’d get a call, and make a decision that you know would quickly make you loads of 💰. The easy moves. As you light your cigar with hundred dollar bills 😂
You can tell with the market that people are buying more collector boosters. When a rare base non foil card is worth more that the foil versions. Tells me regular booster boxes are building up somewhere. Will see if changes with play boosters.
I’m just hoping they move the collectibility in the external IP universes beyond, and stop inflating their core playable sets. No serials in outlaws is a step in the right direction
Wait...did you know what you were buying or was it mystery boxes from Alliance even if it was discounted since it was crap? I don t understand how that would be legal if that is the case as they are just dumping crap they can t sell when they should now have bought it in the first place. Seems the whole industry needs a reset button. Distributors should only be in shipping and wotc should be the ones selling directly to LGSes
Hate to tell u this, but even collector boosters are a horrible value (for non sellers). Odds are u pull about $50 worth of cards on a box that costs u $200+ Like, yeah u CAN pull a valuable card, but most likely not. If you're a seller tho, u can probably flip the commons as well to bring u in the green.
Yeah but fiscally speaking opening sealed product should not be automatic free tendies, by design most people are meant to lose on average. That’s why it’s important to either A. create added value like doing sealed pools or drafting the box or B. accept that you are likely losing some value when you buy loot boxes.
@markusbetts totally agree except for "some value". It's more like a lot of value. At $200+ per collector box, it's just not worth it. The odds of even getting commons that u want is low too since it's only 12 packs.
To be fair the full art lands in many instances are still desirable and valuable, for example the exact one you were holding up (Kamigawa). However, it was a mistake for them to overdo them just like foils and alt arts
Random idea. Sell all the stuff in your back room? Or order less quantities until it balances out. You have a lot of product, just sitting. And that is not healthy for any business. It ties up revenue, lowers equity in the long run as most products lose value, and likely is crushing your morale. So if you redirected some energy, you could find some creative ways to sell all that product in under 30 days. Hell, you could move most of it in one weekend on What not. Open the gates, and sell that stuff. I bet you will feel great looking at that fat paycheck.
I'm pretty sure the entire video is about how no one wants to buy it even at a discount. It's old new stock that has no market. Also, it's not just about selling it. I'm sure he could sell it all in a day if he listed it for 1$ but he needs to recoup some of his investment and currently the only hope is for it to become desirable in the future.
My LGs has a wall of MOM prerelease boxes sitting on their shelf… just crazy to see older product just sit while wizards prints away.
March of the Machines came out last year 😂
I think it goes something like that this:
Buying a booster pack

this channel got me back into magic
It's a shame that customs are so ridiculous that there's no sense to order stuff from US to Europe, otherwise could buy some of these leftovers.

Omega packs are like blisters, the point is to make them bulky to prevent theft.
Some of us saw this coming since Ikoria, lol. Hope you're doing well Kev
love your rants, Kevin ❤🔥🔥

Kitchen Table tcg should change their name to Sorcery Only Sorcery tcg

8:30 isn’t USD worse than ever before tho?
challenger decks should be for eternal formats only imo
They made them that big so it's harder to steal cus you can't pocket them at that size.
Head to the back of your local Walmart and you’ll find a ton of them ripped open 😮
Hey I'll buy some of them.
It's draft chaff, not trash

Another great rant.
