This just arrived at my house yesterday. I haven’t built it yet, but I’m happy that something besides a Spiderman vehicle got released. Good that there’s something different.
I don’t think that is supposed to be a young version of Wong, he’s wearing the same yellow jacket in the trailer, and the hair piece is probably there because he seems to have slightly longer hair now.
This is intended to be *that* version of him? I guess I can kind of see it now, but wow, this one is soooo much more vibrant, I couldn't make the connection on my own.
Merchandise calls that Spider-Man outfit the "Integrated Suit", a new design introduced in No Way Home. That's basically all we know about it at this point!
My boys are getting into spider-man (I am not) - however something about this set really appeals to me. I love the concept and am certain it will be popular with the kids.
Love the level of small detail in this set. For a while now I've had the modular-style Sanctum building opened up at 90 degrees with the previous one-level Sanctum set rearranged to fit in as a full floor behind the round window - this, after a lot of rebuilding, has now joined it as the floor beneath. It's almost totally hidden away, what with the floor above and other sets crowded around either side of it, but I like knowing it's in there.
Great review Jang! I do wish that new cape came with the cmf of what if Peter Parker. It seems like such a 'premium' accessory that you usually see with CMF series. Thanks again!
The lego Spider-Man: no way home sanctum workshop set kinda reminds me of the lego infinity saga bro Thor’s home set, because what both sets have in common is that they don’t have play features.
I didn't know the price point before watching this video and I was shocked when you said $40! This looked like a $50 set to me. For $40 with those minifigs? I think I'll actually pick this up.
I bought this set mainly just for the new minifigures. I have already swapped the cloaks of Dr Strange and my Zombie Hunter Spider Man. I think it is a pretty good price point for what you get!

Ugh, this is a whopping 80 SGD which converts to just under 60 USD. I want it so bad for all the figures, the little bits and accessories, and the creature. Hopefully it goes on sale, but that doesn't happen much with Marvel sets here.
After the movie came out and building this set, I really wished Lego put Doc Oct in this instead of that green monster thing, would of been a top tier set. Especially since Doc Oct was in the promotional material. That green thing was not even in the movie and a waste of pieces in my opinion. But overall I still very much enjoy this set.
Cheers for the review Jang! Always helpful. As an AFOL I look at sets like these and more just wonder how I'm going to store it. I think it's not as good as the previous Sanctum Sanctorum from 2016, but this does make me wonder if they're doing a Modular style Sanctum in the future. I think it's also interesting that this is the first "updated" Strange torso and legs since his first release.
I recently got this set. I feel like this set is really great for accessories and decorations. Has a lot of cool little tools and stuff, and I think I may take some of it apart just to use these accessories. The figures are cool, I really like the sr strange and Spider-Man suit. MJ and won’t look more casual which I also like. I like this set and it’s a nice one to have! (Also I agree on the stickers, weirdly they were easy to put on)
Doesn't it look perfect for a Doc Brown from Back to the Future lab/home? with a few modifications, It could be very Doc Brownish. Speaking of colors, I LOVE the dark orange Brick Bricks. And that red video gaming sofa looks comfy. Nice work Jang! and Lego:)
Well until I hear otherwise I'm going to call the bug creature Frank and I'm going to make it my head canon that he lives in the Sanctum's basement and does Dr. Strange's/the Sanctum's taxes. Just because.

Does that bike and tools confirm Toby and Andrew are in No Way Home 😳. After all Andrew is known to use tools and Toby has used a blue bike before. Why else would they specifically choose to use tools and a bike in the same set. I don’t know I think I’m onto something here! Jk jk. In all seriousness, that young Wong is certainly interesting and I can’t help but wonder if that weird ant thing is possibly a Deviant from Eternals? Probably not, probably a filler but who knows. Anyways that’s all besides the point. That point being a surprisingly well priced, fun play set that I look forward to getting my hands on. Thanks for giving me the confidence to go ahead and get this one, Jang.
For me this set just looks very overpriced, the sections on either side of the door are amazing in their levels of detail, but the rest of the build is pretty shallow so the price feels steep, but that's to be expected with licensed themes I suppose. That monster is pretty good, I'm always happy to see brick-built creatures like that. Great review as always, Jang!
Figures - all really good. Top to bottom, three decent detailed, new iterations & one 'meh' but still basically fine MJ. Sidebuild - not sure what this spider-type thing is, but it's fine. Lego designers should note however, that the frond element can never, ever, work as 'legs' or in supporting anything. Aesthetics - don't it look nice, folks? Eye-catching, nice colour palette, and all those 'rooms'. Sorry, floors. Bits of floor? Mmm. Like Bro Thor's new Asgard, there are lots & lots of random fiddly bits & accessories too (push bike! Sextant! Hourglass! Bottles! Round things! Stuff! The 'hi-fi' brick! More stuff!) which are not of much use, but they pop the piece count and they lure unwary AFOLs in, so hey-ho. But the building? Structurally, this is one of the worst, weakest, most poorly designed Lego sets ever. Really. Ever. Too many branching joints (the 45 degree double 1x4's) have been used to build this out but not one is reinforced, and there's too much weight/pressure, on each base plate because...no walls! Holding, moving or lifting this set up - whole or by ANY single part or built feature (fireplace, workbench, centre point) results in immediate and total destruction. And that gets really old, really quick when you try and move, say, a shelf. Interestingly, Not one Lego approved reviewer has mentioned that on TH-cam. I guess you have to factor in that kids are the smallest purchasing demographic (in size and proportion) so the majority of this set's buyers - AFOOLs - are happy to address Lego's sloppiness and do the requisite stabilising and reinforcing. But you'll need a lot of bricks. It's a weird one: it looks great, the figures are good, the monster thing is fine and it seems good value for money. But unlike the first Sanctum set or even New Asgard, the MAIN build is horrible. Just a lazy, poorly executed agglomeration of bricks. But maybe that's okay sometimes. If the choice is between more Lego Marvel Superheroes mechs, cars, jets, bikes, cars, mechs, buggies, mechs or a poor landscape/room build with some cracking figures and some really nice elements, I'd go with this every time. I just wish I'd been aware of this before buying.
Looks like a similar concept as te New Asgard set, cutout rooms of specific locations. They might even look cool together! Are you planning to review that one, @jang?
hey JANG. What is up with Dr Strange Time Stone holder, worst print ever, mine is just rubbish and nothing like the box pic of him as you can clearly see the Sanctum emblem printed on his Time Stone holder.
That stuff you mentioned at the start of the video about it being designed a year ago.... That's not an excuse. That's a sign of poor, absolutely godawful management.
What's a sign of what? It takes at least 6 months to bring a legal, safe, mass-produced physical product to global market with instructions, packaging, stabilized QC and logistics after design is finalized, that's absolutely normal. The movie was originally slated to release in July. On top of that, licensors do not want to completely spoil upcoming media (such as top-budget AAA global movies) via merchandise, so licensees are forced to make due with limited information.
They don't get to watch the movie - they are given concept art and a synopsis to work from. Both could change by the time sets are released. Marvel would also mindful of merchandising spoiling aspects of the movie.

This set feels like a really neat pack for treasure type pieces with all the gems, tools, and so on.

Im surprised how much stuff of this was not in the movie expect for the computer and the basement itself, would been nice if they included Ned.

The black and red suit is called the integrated suit, it is brand new to NWH. It looks to be a combination of his suit from FFH and the iron spider

After watching the film, this set barely resembles anything we see. I wonder if it was based on a cut scene or just concept art that changed alot?
