Here in NZ we have very limited supply of exotic leathers.The colours are fantastic that you used. I'm making watchstraps as well, mainly single pass straps. Love your work.

Love that orange GMT hand. I have a Gekota GMT watch with a white GMT hand against silver hour and minute hands - confusing. I'm planning on opening the case and painting that GMT hand orange! Those orange straps really compliment the watch! Good vid. Music is nice. But I miss the voice-overs. Welcome back. Keep at it!

Hi Michael, I have been watching your videos for some time and I truly enjoy them. However, I just subscribed. I love watches and leather bands and I like you and respect you as a person. The times you talked about your personal life resonated with me and we are about the same age. I humbly suggest that you find a balance between the format of the last two episodes and your original version, like someone said, we miss hearing your voice. I know you're busy with making straps and your clinic. Just keep your camera rolling and then edit and make shorter videos and you can fast forward the steps that you do everytime. I pretty sure you made straps for a lot watches but yet you only covered a few watches in your episodes and some of them are repeats. Not criticising, just make suggestions to have your videos keep coming. Take care buddy. All the best. Maj
Thanks Maj! I’ve been extremely ill the past few weeks. Tests for COVID came back negative, but I have all the symptoms. No smell or taste with all of the other issues, especially extreme fatigue. Very odd… I think the tests were false negative. I started an Ivermectin & HCQ regime a week ago Wednesday and am feeling a little better. My personal physicians would not prescribe me anything, but was finally able to get some help through telemedicine. Just trying to do everything right. I appreciate your feedback, and should be back on TH-cam soon. Thanks again! MK
I’m doing better. Got the crud pretty bad last month. Was hospitalized for four days when my heart went into afib. Still dealing with some fatigue and brain fog, but man, last month it was unbelievable. The first and second week of July was like stage 4 flu. I’ve only gotten about 20% of my smell back, and I’d say 80% of my taste back. These frickin doctors at the hospital tested me 3 times for the virus and all came back negative. I went to a cardiologist for further tests the week after I released myself from the hospital and he thinks it’s some form of flu or strain of the virus that the tests couldn’t detect. It’s the only thing that makes sense to me. So yeah, pushin thru and doin better. I tried posting a short vid two weeks ago, but YT yanked it right down. It’s like you can’t even talk about it at all. They’re commies now anyways. Once I’m a little better I’ll put out a show. I’m just not ready and really need to catch up on orders. We sold our house in one day and we close on the 7th. We're moving back to Montana as soon as we buy a house there. We have sixty days to get it done or we're homeless. I knew something was wrong. You what’s really weird Brother? Remember when you first contacted me in early October of 2019, and I was sick then? I had flown first to Silicon Valley for a two day Seminar during the middle of September 2019. Then I came home for two weeks and worked, and then I flew to Chicago for a Conference. While I was in Chicago I started getting flu like symptoms, but I had also lost my sense of smell and taste. When I got back home I was sick as a dog, and I never get sick. I had all the same symptoms: 102 degree temp, body aches, headaches, fatigue, brain fog, vomiting, diarrhea, the whole nine yards. Once people started talking about the C virus in early 2020, and the symptoms they were having, I thought WOW, that’s what I had. Since then I’ve spoken with tons of people who went through the same sickness I had in late 2019. I think it was here much earlier than people think. Could it have been the flu? Yeah, maybe, but the loss of smell and taste is the real tell tale sign. It came back last time within a week, but it’s been two months almost and I still can’t smell hardly anything. To have these three negative tests is really odd this time. I think I had it in 2019, and some variant this last time.
@@StrapaWatch Were you vaccinated this time? I'm 75 in a few weeks and the wife's not far behind me. I truly think if she wasn't vaccinated it could have ended poorly. I don't preach about this topic, but I get the flu shots too. I truly wish you a swift recovery.

Tests for the original all came back negative, but they believe now it was a variant. I can’t even state the name or they’ll take my channel down. I put out a 5 minute short clip to update everyone about two weeks ago, and YT pulled it that day and I received a strike. Was very ill, and spent a few days in the hospital. I’m doing much better now, but just trying to get caught up on straps. Not sure when I’ll have another show out, but hopefully within the next few weeks. Still have extreme fatigue, headaches, and brain fog. MK
