That never happened!
Due to the high winds for the day we decided to go and check out one of our Favourite Restaurants in Adeje Alto.
A Restaurant I have been going to for the last 33 years.
Restaurant Otelo.
Just Ten minutes in. taxi from all the local Holiday hotspots.

Hi Rick and Shelley, enjoyed watching, great views and food look great. Would love to hire a car and explore, but driving on other side of road when it’s really busy is a bit scary for me ! Worth considering a taxi ride up there tho. Tenerife really has so much to offer, thanks for showing us around 👍😀
Driving does take some getting used to thats for sure lol. However for a small Taxi fare it is certainly worth it. All the best Rick

Oh it’s amazing is Otelo. Always a must when I’m in Tenerife. You also passed another well known restaurant serving the same chicken just has the car was reversing out of the car parking spot. There’s also another as well in Adeje and one down by the taxi rank in Los Cris near to the Sunday market
Been to the one in Los Cris. I can NEVER get parked for the one on the street. We both said “Sods Law!” When that car pulled out lol.

Otelo looks fabulous we must try it next time. We usually go to Oasis in Adele Town and also Damary to get our Chicken fix. Both are excellent.
The Town perform the Passion of Christ on Good Friday ( not this year) in the Main Street , the road is covered in in palms and sand with little pottery / basket making/ food stalls all the way up to the church. 3000 local people perform in costumes and the climax is the crucifixion itself we have been many times it’s very emotional. Broadcast live throughout Spain on TV .

Hi Rick and shelly my mum and dad used to go there when it was the chicken shack years ago. They could not get home because the taxi would not go up. So the guy that owned it then took them back down on the back of a cart it had chairs on it. Wen it was cold of a night they gave jumper and cardigans out. X

Another chicken restaurant to try is @ Cabo Blanco opposite the Church it’s called Bar restaurant san Martin and all you see is a beeded curtain on the door.when you turn right inside the bar you enter a massive restaurant full of locals. The chicken and potatoes are cooked in metal tray s in the mountain rock wall oven
large menu and it’s extremely reasonable priced. To my knowledge no other Vloggers have done this one..
That sounds like a great one Raymundo. To be honest Otelo is amazing for views, but there is one on the high street as you go up the hill. (directly opposite at the point where the Focus pulled out) that is supposed to be better, but we can never get parked lol. It was "SODS" law the parking spot came available on the day we were not going to it. haha.

Could you not have got what you didn't eat put in we takeaway box Rick?
Yes they always do takeaways Sun flower, but a lot of restaurants at this time are taking the left overs (depending on Condition) and giving to the homeless at the end of day. We weren't sure if this was such a restaurant so we left a chicken leg and a portion of potatoes just in case. But normally we take away. Rick

Did you check out Lees latest '5 guys' vlog with Ange. They had 2 burgers with fries & cokes for the same price that you paid for your 2 meals. I know which meal i'd rather have and the views aswell. 😎👍
