Cocona's tape was basically a love letter to Jay. So many references to his songs and albums. Even deeper references that A LOT of people missed.. The bar "When the haters hear this, they gonna get in their feelings, wishing for a reply" could be in reference to Open Letter that Jay wrote in regards to haters. Blueprint2 The Gift and The Curse. All 4 of these ladies came out firing at their haters. Especially Harvey and Maya.

Because in the behind the scenes of XTRA XG #36 Cocona said this was the most they all contributed to the process the project. With English being most of their 3rd languages that’s just insane. Also if you haven’t already heard TAPE #4 also has a small group number with all of them called Trampoline.

I love that "Petty to they toes no pedicure can save em" it's soooo good. Same with "Hating is a habit don't pass it to ya offspring." Harvey's flow was so well written.

"I don't want no beef unless it's kobe grade" Top tier beef "and while you process it" Process-as in process the beef.. This tape 4 showing is incredible to me. The thing I love the most about it, is that you can tell the writers and the girls decided to tackle the cultural appropriation accusations head on. Every girl had a line in their tape addressing it. Harvey: "They don't like my tone as if it's pitch black" -- They don't like her tone because she's pitching it to sound "black" Maya: "I spit like this but look like that, to some of y'all, it must be a complicated complexion" -- With a skin complexion like Maya, you wouldn't expect these bars. It's got everyone thinking complicated thoughts. Cocona: "Am I a gift and a curse for the culture? when I spit with these words, could it hurt ya?" -- Is XG hurting the culture by being this hip hop? Does it take away from the struggle? Jurin: "And I always deciphered the beat, no rap parody" -- They aren't pretending to be rappers, they ARE rappers. For me, it's Maya. She slid on that beat, her cadence and flow switches were immaculate. And Cocona with the XG writers, some of whom are black producers from Atlanta by the way, penning an absolute love letter to HOVA. Harvey and Jurin were still top-tier in this tape, but I think a step below Maya and Coco. The two youngest in the group are absolutely insane hip-hop prodigies...
Kinda sad that you did color coded lyrics instead of the original videos, cause there's absolutely zero point of doing so. Tape 4 is completely in English AND they have captions, i get that the videos are short, but you could have done 'em in one go Also you have missed Trampoline, which is also a part of Tape 4
