This is the CIK-FIA European Karting Championship for KZ Free Practice 5 onboard Max Verstappen (CRG / TM / B'stone), second part, right after he comes out of the pits on fresh tires. He goes on a series of record laps, setting the second best lap officially ever recorded in Genk (he set the fastest ever on the previous free practice).

This is a free practice session before the race. He made the best lap time ever recorded in an official session on this track during this session.
The race format includes a qualifying practice, several qualifying heat races that are actual races of 36 drivers starting according to the lap time they posted in the qualifying practice, and prefinal/final for the top 36 drivers, starting in the order they classified in the qualifying heats.
