Value village in my town has base prices for certain objects regardless of where they come from... which leads straight to your items with dollar store price tags that read "1.99" priced by the thrift store at like 4.99 lol

Did you hear that Best Buy is no longer going to sell physical media? Dvds, etc. They are on their way of the Circuit City demise.

If I had to guess it will be a long while before that happens. Resellers buy that media at thrift stores all the time. They are not going to Best Buy lol.

Been watching your videos for a while now we need to see proof of all these dvds you sell thru Amazon because from my experience, 99.9% of the time with DVDS,books,cds are always cheaper on eBay.

I know right something isn't right, especially because some of his clips don't show if he is even eligible to sell them on Amazon, half the time you're not allowed to sell it and good luck producing invoices from Paramount or Universal etc.

Who cares if they are cheaper on ebay. A lot of products are cheaper on other websites as well. Most people that shop on amazon are not looking at other websites. They want the 1 - 2 day prime shipping and don't mind paying a little more as long as they get it fast. It's really as simple as that. Stop over thinking and over analyzing the reselling business, it's not rocket science. You buy low and sell high.

Since Best Buy is no longer sell DVDs, they should be highly valuable. I hate that AMZ gates almost half of their catalog.
Best DVDs to buy are usually out of print DVDs, especially if they're new and sealed. Some new and sealed DVDs that are still in print do good too
I was checking out you eBay store... I see some items are strictly "buy now" and others are "best offer". How do you determine to list items in either of those buying methods?
Its probably just the newer items I listed that dont have a Best Offer option at the moment. I normally have Best Offer on everything (even if its something I wont take offers on)

I don't think so but I can tell you that from my experience video games sell well, board games can deliver decent profit but in Aus, board games are expensive at the op shops, they're like $6 AUD for even a used one that is taped up so I can't count the pieces (the board games look like run of the mill ones too)

When the picture is different then the one on Amazon (dvd) do you still list it if so do you add a comment your is different cover ?
You cant write descriptions on New Items on Amazon. But Im pretty positive the picture was showing a slipcover, and thats no big deal if its included or not.
Why sell on Amazon as apposed to ebay or do you do both? Is selling bulk of the same item better to do on Amazon?
I do both. But I like Amazon a bit more because I ship most things into their warehouses and they deal with shipping to customers when the items sell.
@@ThriftSchool Amazon also sounds cheaper to shop than with the post office, $11 AUD for a parcel in Australia. I prefer Local Sales to maximise profit because we don't really have Amazon FBA in Aus

I dont have any Salvation Armys near where I live sadly. Theres a Savers about 45mins - 1 hour away and its terrible
@@ThriftSchool That explains why I haven't seen you in Savers. Savers in Aus is good but we don't have color tagging on Savers goods. Only Salvos stores does color tagging but only on clothing and they often change tags so they can maximise profit
