François Hollande comes to power having promised change, a break with politics, but also with the style of his predecessor. Nicolas Sarkozy must learn to leave power, after thirty-five years of political struggles. During the presidential campaign, he promised to step down in the event of failure. But for both of them, nothing will go as planned. François Hollande will find himself hostage to very invasive private affairs, and he will have to face a discredited political power. Nicolas Sarkozy, for his part, will not stop writing the chronicle of his return as a providential man, while legal cases follow one after another.
