- in this video i have explained a strategy to prepare for General Studies (GS) part of UPSC-ESE exam.
I have explained the full syllabus and further divided it into two parts so that you can strategies your time in a better way.
this video is part-1 if GS strategy, a part-2, for topic wise previous year questions analysis is also made. from year 2017 to 2020.

SIR! I just wanna ask one questions, agar hama IIT ka liya coaching chiyaa, IES ka liya coaching chiyaa.
toh school aur colleges chal he kyun rahan haan, MA-BAAP ka passa gayab hoo raha haa.
then what is the significance of school and colleges if they can not provide us one single fucking job or employment i mean to say. at last COACHING > SCHOOL.
Believe me I share your frustration Divanshu.
But it is a system now, the competition is so high that it's level has to be kept much higher than that of school/college level, which gives rise to coachings.
It's sad that no schools are good enough for competition.

Sir in non tech type for Environment, ICT and Ethics can we use previous year coaching notes or their syllabus changes ?
For these three you can use.
But you'll need to read some extra things also, for ict and envt.
Sir i have taken coaching for gate from ace academy hyd. For ies prelims, is the syllabus for gate ( branch electrical ) is sufficient for paper 2 i.e. technical ? Or can I expect more or less as compare to syllabus of ies? And for GS, i need to prepare from scratch.
There are few topics which are extra for ESE, check both gate n ese syllabus n compare it.

Sir mein 5 semester mein hu toh kya mujhe gate ki preparation k liye unacademy lena chahiye kyuki sirf aapki or naveen sir ki video dekh kar hi mein 75% of pyq solve kar rha hu in first attempt.
If you can already solve 75% qns then you don't need unacademy
Bas practice krte rho achche se, that'll be sufficient 🤗

Sir me v avi gate ki preparation kar raha hu.. mera syllabus almost complete hone wala hai.. par sir notes ki puri content yaad hi nhi rehti.. koi koi subject toh 3 baar revise kar chuka hu par fir v kuch chije bhul jaata hu.. iska solution kya hai sir... Aur jb v subject ka test deta hu, lamba question dekhne se dimaag me concept laane me bht time lag jaata hai.. test me v marks 50% ke aas paas aata hai.. sir please drop some suggestions...

Analyse ur mistakes
There can be many reasons for low test series performance, I'll make a separate detailed video for that.
But you need to analyse what mistakes you are making.
Sir if I cover only current affairs related to ICT, environment through newspapers or some magazines will it help???
Yes, it'll help.
Anyway current affairs are too vast, just keep a track of daily news and don't waste your time too much on just current affairs.

Otherwise you can buy from delhi shops and get them delivered to your location.
