While your doing an outstanding representation of narrowboats you are also inadvertently doing something even more important. You are representing to the general public something that they are both unexposed to and uncomfortable with homosexuality. Considering the stereotypical image of being gay your representation of being normal humans who just happen to love the same sex as themselves makes heterosexuals realize other than that consideration your as normal as them. As a couple you have shown in this episode that you both have had to handle the hurdles and tribulations so called normal couples do without once waving the rainbow flag. You have proven that who you love doesn’t make you any different than other humans. You laugh and suffer the same issues as everyone else. You have repeatedly shown that your lifestyle is not a threat or even that different to the rest of society in general. I happen to live in an area with the largest representation of gay culture in the Northeast. Early on growing up I learned that gay culture wasn’t a threat to my heterosexual standing in fact if anything they improved my life by opening my mind to different variations and viewpoints. That is something you have also provided the simple fact that normal has nothing to do with race, color, creed, or sexual preference and has everything to do with being a caring loving human. For educating my peers and the general close minded public I thank you for that. Mainly because it about time we humans understand the only thing about us we all have in common is none of us are normal!
I'm not gay and I don't really care about narrow boats.I'm sitting on the top of a mountain in Colorado and have watched you guys for a couple of years because your great people and I enjoyed your story.
This is the most wonderful love story of all time, forget the fairy tales, the fables, Shakespeare, hollywood and the royal family. You two inspire us all to care for one another, accept one another and stick together no matter what.Thank you.
Shaun's head shaking as Colin talked about sucking his milkshake through the straw made me laugh so hard. That's the kind of reaction that only comes from two people who know and love each other so incredibly well. Thank you so much for sharing your stories and adventures with all of us.
When my partner an I came across you guys you reinforced what it means to be normal. What also is so obvious on screen colin is the love in Sean’s eyes when he looks at you. You are a fabulous couple and an amazing team. What better people to show the world we are no different. Colins goofy style with Sean’s steady hand is magic. We love you guys. Fabulous guys keep going. Cheers Sean 🥂🥂🥂
Lovely to see a little more of the back story to the pair of you. Your frankness in discussing mental health is refreshing, and I hope that it will make others, particularly men who are often even more reluctant to talk about it, feel that it is ok to speak out, ask for help and recognise that life doesn’t always tick along smoothly. Looking forward to finding out more about the new adventures! Meanwhile, keep safe and happy cruising :)
Two handsome men and a beautiful sweet puppy! Thank you for your story. It is special. I am finally catching up on your vlogs. It's funny how life tends to get in the way of things you enjoy, like watching you three. Take care and hugs from British Columbia.
I haven't commented in quite awhile, but I've never missed a vlog episode of Foxes Afloat. This episode compels me to comment. Colin, your candid revelations about your ASD have made me so conscious of my own mental health - and I'm beyond grateful for that. I've often replayed the episode where you did your walking commentary on your ASD many, many times, even recommending it to others who I believe could benefit from your honesty. Your content continues to entertain, inform and stimulate thought, and your presentation is impeccable. I'm looking forward to being introduced to your new vessel and expect to learn a lot as you make it the perfect narrowboat for the three of you. Cheers! Tao
I’m jealous of you guys being able to express all this nice words…I have a lot i would like to say also, but I am just at an awe and star struck that I don’t know where to begin. I just started watching and I’m jumping around, watching different episodes, like a kid in a candy store😂. My husband, the other day told me “close your mouth dear”😂 Susan
Hi Colin and Shaun, beautiful video! You are such wonderful people, I loved this so very much! Thank you for sharing so much of yourselves with us! Take really good care of yourselves, stay safe! Please give Otis a big cuddle for me! 💖Much love Kathy x
My Mom always told me “wherever you go, there you are”. At some point, I finally understood she was right, you never leave your personal baggage behind. I love your blog. You are both very talented 😊
5 years ago I started my life's New Journey first thing I did I get rid of my kids and my grandkids then sold the house and the business and bought a sailboat cheers guys and you to Otis
I loved that episode. I have decided that giving Shaun a hug is on my bucket list. You two are a perfect match. I would like to hear more about Shaun. God bless you both and Otis too ofcourse.

I never delve into or question other's pasts or motives, I take people as they are, but when they want to share, then I find their stories and especially yours fascinating. A really enjoyable story today thank you. Always love the vlogs mixture of scenery and history, today of course the history was yours instead of the canal's. I love the comfortable relationship you guys have.
Absolutely loved that photo montage of the happy couple. I switched to 0.25 x so I could have a good sticky-beak. OMG Colin, that tongue!! 🤣🤣 Fantastic story of how you met; unbelievably funny. Professional diving instructors!! Oh, this just keeps getting better and better. "It felt big inside me" 😮😮🤣🤣🤣 Loved learning more about your journey together and I love your openness about living with mental health issues. You two are very special individuals and an awesome couple. Thanks again.
Guys, you seem to have found the partner that makes you happy. You accept and deal with the difficulties that arise AND you communicate with each other. You have remained together through some dark times. You can laugh, and a relationship without laughter is dead. Enjoy the life that has been given to you... er... "Live long and prosper"?...
You guys are so inspirational and open. Love your little puns or jokes! Such an excellent way to unwind in the evenings. We looking to do this as our retirement. So much to consider and learn. Thank you gents...
This has to be one of your best episodes so far. The editing with the musical interludes and scenic shots was fabulous! You gents really are getting better and better. Best wishes from Central Michigan!
Shaun and Collin, I am thankful that your journey brought you to a place where others could enjoy your wit, humor, and wisdom. As strange as it may sound, you are like family. So, my brothers, stay safe and journey onward.
Been watching since you started the vlogs. Loved and “liked” everyone . I don’t comment often, but just want you to know I love you guys. Please don’t ever take each other for granted. You have a very special relationship. We all live vicariously through your vlogs. Thank you for the glimpse into your past. Please keep doing what you do. Can’t wait to see the build on your new boat. Cheers from Florida 🌴🌴🌴🌴
Colin and Shaun are just two beautiful human beings and that’s all there is to it. I am proud to share this tiny part of their lives and look forward to the day I may bump into them on the cut 😊
Shaun and Colin I loved the vlog. Each week you make me smile. When I’m nervous or worried you show me I’m not alone, I just need to face it and keep moving forward. Thank you both very much. Please pet Otis for me
What a beautiful story and one of those photos was a blast from the past. The New Penny used to be on our pub crawl circuit back in the late 70s early 80s. Love the comment from One Per, Says it all really.
This Vlog has reinforced why you are the best and most popular canal youtubers. The chemistry between you is obvious, your Vlogs are at a standard not achieved by many and as for Shauns Laughter, it should be enough to brighten anybody's day. I will be starting my own canal adventure in the new year, once the team at Swan boats have completed my boat. Hope to see you on the system in the future. Take care.
Great to hear how you decided to go for Narrowboat life. You two are fun to watch and very informative. Keep doing what you are doing. I am retired, divorced and have cancer but you really are very entertaining. I am looking forward to your Vlogs on the new boat that you are building. Take care. Dave: Tacoma, Wa
I was watching this for ten minutes before I realised my jaw was aching. Then I realised the reason why; I'd had a broad smile on my face right from the beginning. Loved this one guys.
You two should be on the TV. Wonderful presentation, always interesting AND amusing. Informative and warm. No politics just boats, love and great coverage. Love you guys
Beautiful video.Off-boat scenes - not sure how you did that (6 mins in) and an open hearted statement of what was and, happilly, now is. Well done Silver Foxes for your candidness and frankness. An inspiration to many folk I am sure. Thank you for your terriffic entertainment which only works because of your obvious love and respect for each other.
Thank you boys also been following you from first vlog, so many lovely pictures of you over the time of your shared life together. You didn’t have to open up but it’s wonderful you did and I thank you again for that. Wishing you all the best for the sale and looking forward to the new narrow boat
I am sad to hear that this adventure may not have helped your mental health but you sharing it with us and allowing us a glimpse into your lives has helped mine! Your videos are calming and a big stress relief to me! Thank You!
i have suffered mental health for 40 yrs . i sadly tried to end my life. but then i realised what we all have, and thats someone to hold and someone to love and i got this from your vlogs. so thankyou for being you...... great vlog xxxxxxx
Absolutely love this, especially all the pictures of you both from over years of being together. How perfect that the guy you both were seeing got kicked to the kerb and that now you both are together 👌🏻 it was meant to be 👌🏻 you are each other’s lobster 🦞 (sorry for the friend’s pun) 🤗
So, Otis is off to the side saying, “Pssst, slip me a quid and I’ll tell ya what really goes on around here! Trust me, I’ve seen it all!” Great show guys, I feel like I know you better each week!
I understand how much a relief it can be to have a answer. My spouse had both mental and physical issues. Having a diagnosis was a real help for me to understand. Unfortunately she lost the battle with her physical illness. It warms the heart to watch you two interact with one a other.. Best wishes to you both... Thank you for the videos and letting others like me explore places I will never be able to go on my own.
I do not think I have come across a more honest and forthright couple in all of my 6 plus decades on this planet, it is a absolute joy and a privilege to be able to follow your trials and tribulations on your journey through the canals of the Uk. Good luck to you both, your lifestyle in my youth was frowned upon, but your openness, has I believed changed not only mine but many other people’s attitudes. I salute you both
Sean, you're wrong - he can and frequently does 'say that!' 😂 You always leave me laughing, and sometimes with a tear in my eye too. Glad you have each other, and that you're willing to share so much with us 'weirdos on the internets'. Thank you both, and not forgetting Otis, with his fuzzy but not so little anymore face.
"It felt pretty big in me". Look at the sly grin on Shaun's face when you said it. Another good video guys and never knew you two were dive instructions.
Loved this - as a relative newcomer to your channel it was great to hear your back story. You’re both amazing people, in different ways, and great advocates for mental health, healthy relationships, loving who you want to love, and open, honest discussion. 💙
@@FoxesAfloat thanks so much. We are loving Turkey. But we are missing narrow boat poppy 😢. Torn between two lovely places. Many thanks from Chris and Jane 🏖
Absolutely loved that. It’s really excellent you prepared to share your life. My 10 year old grandson is lower spectrum autistic and he is an absolute treasure. Still can’t get over how much you make me laugh guess my mind a little naughty like yours. Thanks so much for taking me along. Please stay safe and take care
LOVE that you two are still loving and committed to each other. I wish you many more years happily together... whatever direction you decide to take. I discovered your channel through a friend's smart TV who loves watching you and narrowboats on TH-cam. A joy to now have you on my Subscribers 😍😍😍
My son has recently been diagnosed with adhd and is currently going through assessment for asd. It’s hard I won’t lie but would I change him, a wonderful little human who sees life outside the box, heck no x I find it amazing and hard and laughing out loud moments and crying moments x but he will be fine as he knows his own mind x thank you so much for your honesty x great vlog 👍
He will be fine, I promise. Time will be hard sometimes but he will learn and adapt. You're doing exactly the right thing and your mindset is perfect. Much love! 💜
Fascinating vlog Colin/Shaun. It was great to have you two take us back to the beginning of your journey. You guys looked great as young lads but I must say, and Shaun will appreciate this, you've both aged like fine wine. Did either of you ever dream you would have the following in the states that you have? I have a number of friends here in the U.S. that love Otis...and think you two are alright as well. Wishing you safe travels.
I love the innuendos! Shaun laughing uncontrollably Colin asks “You alrrighh?” Keep these amazing vlogs coming guys. Any chance you can start 2 vlogs a week when you get the new boat. We need more!!!
Thank you Gentlemen for this glimpse into your lives pre TH-cam. Each week you come into our lives, share stories, locations, and experiences and we appreciate it more than you know. A great big Canadian bear hug for you both, and of course a good chin scratch for Otis. Take care, drink the wine, and love deeply.
Thanks for sharing your time together. You’re a perfect match and you make work ❤️. Enjoy your time . Excited to see the next boat and your adventures ❤️
Thanks for sharing, guys! And . . . I've got to burp! 😂😂😂 I've said it before and I really mean it: the main thing about these vlogs is the relationship between you two. You are really in my mind the very idea of a good married couple. It makes me happy to see it.
What an absolutely fantastic backstory....from an awesome couple. You two are truly amazing, each in your own right......love getting to spend a few minutes with you each week.
wow really nice pics of you two from a long time till now. Did not know you guys new each other that long. good job and hope you to have the best years yet to come from Sarnia Ontario Canada. ty for sharing your life
Hi guys, we look forward to every episode. You tell a tale with an honesty that is so very refreshing. Thank you for sharing some of your past journey it was a privilege to watch. My wife and I found this very inspiring. We have been together for over 40 years and know the value of loving and being loved. So glad you found each other. Keep up the good work and hitting us with unusual and interesting facts along the way. Love to both. Peter
You two are so wise! My husband and I truly enjoy watching the episodes and the vicarious view of long boat life. Much love from Beaverton, Oregon where we have no lovely canals to motor down.
My sentiments exactly "One Per". Amid all the narrowboat vlogs yours is the one I look forward to and I'm nearly always surprised to find out it's Friday again! Stay well you two. John, Ontario, Canada
Been watching for almost a year now; for the past couple years I've been having a mental shift of trying not to not care what people think of me or my hobbies or interests. I used to be too concerned with how others perceived me and I lived my life hoping to please as many as possible. It was making me depressed, and watching your videos really helped me solidify that I should be doing things for my own enjoyment and not for the satisfaction of others. I hope you both continue to push through your problems together and live one day at a time!
Okay guys. This is one of my favorite episodes. My wife and I watch every Friday and have seen every episode. Thanks for sharing your lives. Feels like you're family.
My Grandson was lucky to be diagnosed with Autism at 18 months old, He is an amazing boy now 5 being home schooled by my daughter. When he was diagnosed we started looking into how Autism varies so much from boys to girls and BANG all of a sudden everything fell into place ( His Mum is Autistic too) Autism was never mentioned when she was growing up but it sure explains how she was as a child. Love them both dearly.
You are in good company my hero in the climate debate is Greta Thunberg who also has Autism and when she was 15 had a US president acting like a child but maybe in hind sight that was his normal behaviour. 😊
Great episode! Your honesty about the struggles with anxiety and depression even after the diagnosis of being on the spectrum were more helpful than you can possibly know. Huge hugs from Ontario 🇨🇦. 🤗
I wish I could describe the happy face that comes over me when watching you guys. Part of it I think, is as they say in Thailand you both have 'Jai Di' or 'chai di', depending on the region. It means good heart, actually heart good, as a lot here is said back to front. Meaning people with no bad in them, and who want to look after and be kind to others.
My wife and I lived on a 42 foot power boat for 7 years. We didn't cruise as much as you guys on those canals, but we did learn how to live in small spaces and to deal with boat systems (more than we wanted). We found the boating community very friendly. It took little planning to put on a dock party and people would show up. And, where else do you find people so willing to discuss toilet systems with each other. :)
Hi I'm 12 and would love to live on a narrowboat when I'm older and I'm so thankful for your videos because you show me new things I Diddent know and I love it when I see you upload every time so thanks and I can't wait for the new boat thx 😁
Love your vlog! A couple years ago I stumbled upon a series about a narrowboat. I was hooked, the beautiful pastoral scenes, the old engine thumping and quirkey owner just made me happy. Then recently my Yt recommended one of your vlogs. Oh happy day! This episode was so good for many reasons especially discussing autism. My dearest grandson is high functioning austic as well as bi polar. Seeing you have a life and getting on gives me hope for my beautiful boy. Thank you for sharing your back story and talking openly and honestly about being austic. Thank you for sharing your talents with me and making me laugh. I cant wait to share this with my 17 yo grandson. God bless and keep moving forward with those smiles and beautiful sense of humor. A new friend somewhere in Texas🇺🇲 ❤❤❤
WOW Thank you so much, have you seen the video I made about my ASD 3 years ago...... 09. Autism and Me - Starting a new life on a boat to save my mental health from Aspergers. th-cam.com/video/Lb_uLDQ93lk/w-d-xo.html
I was in tears before the four minute mark 🤣 Life on the cut is definitely in my future. Got a few things I have to take care of on dry land for now but in the future it's a guarantee. No wife or kids at the moment and no plans for settling down any time soon, if not ever. Just want my little boat, 35ft would do, a nice local marina to hunker down in for the winters, a little camper van so I can explore Scotland with my dog. One man and his dog vs the world. Sod all that 9-5 stacking shelves after the school run crap.
You two are fucking adorable! 29 years together regardless of creed, colour, gender or sexuality is a positive, and anyone who has an alternative view clearly has issues if they worry about it. Colin, the fact that you divulge your mental health issues candidly connects with me, because I've been there. Much love to you both, keep up the great content, and safe travels.
I have to agree with David. This is, hands down, your best one yet! Thank you for this. I look forward every week here to my Thursday afternoon break so I can settle in and soak it all in. Keep living the dream (mine too), thanks again. All the best from the West (coast) of BC, Canada! 🇨🇦🇬🇧❤
Awwwwww, you two are so damn cute! Thank you for some history on the two of you. I appreciate how open and honest you both are to us the people who found your channel. And ,what One Per wrote says it all. Love and companionship is what really matters. Gender does not matter.........the heart does.!
A great advantage to mental wellbeing is a stable and reliable relationship. The black dog I have wrestled is under control largely due to my marriage of 50 years. Having someone close to you who thinks you are wonderful has to be theraputic. We are 70 and 71 years old and get on each other's wick from time to time now but are as one and comfortable with it. I hope you two guys have as long or longer to enjoy each other and qualify to occasionaly get on each others wick. Best regards
Wow you have done so much in your short lives and more to come. Thank you for sharing all of this with us. Good luck with the weeks/months/years ahead.
Hi Colin and Shaun, not forgetting Otis. I'm just trying to catch up with several different people's vlogs. Sorry I'm late, Dave my husband ( who first got me watching these vlogs with him), died suddenly and unexpectedly on the 4th October. I'm still in shock about everything, but I know he would want me to carry on watching you . We were in the process of moving house from Euxton Chorley Lancashire to near Middlewich in Cheshire to be near our son and his family. I'm still carrying on with the move as we chose the place together. Anyway I'm watching the one on how you both met. Take care 💙💙🐾
@@FoxesAfloat Thank you both of you. He was taking the bins out and I thought he was a long time, when I looked out of the front window I saw him lying near the hedge in the front garden. Grabbed my phone and went out to him, called the ambulance and I started chest compressions, neighbour's came to help and asked one to run round to the Dr's, only round the corner, the Dr came with a defib ,shortly afterwards the paramedics came then the ambulance. I knew he had gone , but I had to try. Sorry didn't intend to unload on you. Bless you both. Sue 💙💙🐾
In a former time, I managed a group home for 3 autistic teenage boys and another for a teenage autistic girl and a pre-teen with neurofibromatosis, then a home for young men, 2 autistic, one with Down's. I enjoy hearing about Colin's journey to the center of the mind. With my background, I can understand a bit where he is coming from, but I'll never _know_. On a completely different point, my wife came in and watched for a while, and saw the pictures of your younger selves. She said Colin hasn't changed much, as nice looking now as ever, and Shawn has gotten much more handsome as he aged. Then she looked a me and said, "How come you couldn't do that." 🤨
100% agree with your last statement. I'd rather deal with my baggage while out in the bush camping than in a rental with noisy neighbours which only exacerbates the condition. Love to you both, and thank you for sharing your journey together.
Hi you two💜Thank you for sharing your story. I found it touching and very generous of you letting us in to this personal story of your life. This was a great vlog as always. I will from now on be on constant look out for Portobello for every boat passing 😀 Have a lovelly week-end🌸
We really enjoyed this VLOG! We got to learn more about you both and the incredible lives you've led. So glad you could go narrowboating and live the good life now. 💋
Greetings from Chiapas, México. This was one of my all-time favorite vlogs. It was so nice to watch a bit of your history together. It's so good of you, Colin, to realize your mental situation and keep working on it and Shaun looks to have been a great support. 29 years is a long time. Congrats!
Thanks for sharing your life story guys. 29 years is incredible. Love it that you didn’t make it all sound perfect and your philosophy on life bears copying. ❤️
Thanks for sharing your life & experiences so frankly & openly. It’s something I find extraordinarily hard to do being an introvert & all, but watching you guys every Friday, has helped me ponder my personal choices & decisions, in more ways then one. Thank You again for a fantastic vlog & for brightening my day with your honest insights. 💐
Yous two are so funny and just amazing to watch, every time yous release a video it has me hooked and I can't stop watching, was lovely to hear your story aswell and thank you for sharing it even with a lot of strangers, all the beat to yous both
My God....I didn't realize you had been together so long! Happy to see it. Wish you many more years.....and thanks for sharing your story. Helps put things into perspective.

This has to be one of your best episodes so far. The editing with the musical interludes and scenic shots was fabulous! You gents really are getting better and better. Best wishes from Central Michigan!
Yay, thank you!
Shaun and Collin, I am thankful that your journey brought you to a place where others could enjoy your wit, humor, and wisdom. As strange as it may sound, you are like family. So, my brothers, stay safe and journey onward.
Thanks Teresa!
Thank you so much, Jim 👍🏻💜
Really enjoyed this episode! Tickles me every time Shaun says "You can't say that!" Thanks guys! 😃
🤣
Colin and Shaun are just two beautiful human beings and that’s all there is to it. I am proud to share this tiny part of their lives and look forward to the day I may bump into them on the cut 😊
Aww, thanks David!
Shaun and Colin I loved the vlog. Each week you make me smile. When I’m nervous or worried you show me I’m not alone, I just need to face it and keep moving forward. Thank you both very much. Please pet Otis for me
Totally agree.
Will do. Thank you! 👍🏻💜
Your best Vlog ever, even better than Tower Bridge and the launch of Silver Fox, love you guys.
WOW 🤩
Second that 😁
I came on to say the same thing. This was top notch.
Tower Bridge still my absolute favourite 😍. Would absolutely love to do that trip.
Well, this is a really great vlog…. But nothing beats Tower Bridge 🙃
What a beautiful story and one of those photos was a blast from the past. The New Penny used to be on our pub crawl circuit back in the late 70s early 80s. Love the comment from One Per, Says it all really.
Glad you enjoyed it xx
This Vlog has reinforced why you are the best and most popular canal youtubers. The chemistry between you is obvious, your Vlogs are at a standard not achieved by many and as for Shauns Laughter, it should be enough to brighten anybody's day.
I will be starting my own canal adventure in the new year, once the team at Swan boats have completed my boat. Hope to see you on the system in the future. Take care.
Make sure to say hello! 👋
I do hope you're recovering well from cancer 🙏❤️
That's funny lad and dad
29 years is a long time congratulations
Thank you x 🤣
Love, love, love seeing the 'older' pictures of the two of you. 💖
Thank you, Alison ❤️
I was watching this for ten minutes before I realised my jaw was aching. Then I realised the reason why; I'd had a broad smile on my face right from the beginning. Loved this one guys.
haha! Thank you x
You two should be on the TV. Wonderful presentation, always interesting AND amusing. Informative and warm. No politics just boats, love and great coverage. Love you guys
Thank you so much, Dane x
Beautiful video.Off-boat scenes - not sure how you did that (6 mins in) and an open hearted statement of what was and, happilly, now is. Well done Silver Foxes for your candidness and frankness. An inspiration to many folk I am sure. Thank you for your terriffic entertainment which only works because of your obvious love and respect for each other.
Thanks so much.
Loved hearing your story. In a world where 50% of marriages end up broken, it seems you two have found a way to make it work. Thank you.
Thanks Bill. I hope so 💜
Thank you boys also been following you from first vlog, so many lovely pictures of you over the time of your shared life together. You didn’t have to open up but it’s wonderful you did and I thank you again for that. Wishing you all the best for the sale and looking forward to the new narrow boat
Thanks so much 😊
I am sad to hear that this adventure may not have helped your mental health but you sharing it with us and allowing us a glimpse into your lives has helped mine! Your videos are calming and a big stress relief to me! Thank You!
You're very welcome, Michael xxx
i have suffered mental health for 40 yrs . i sadly tried to end my life. but then i realised what we all have, and thats someone to hold and someone to love and i got this from your vlogs. so thankyou for being you...... great vlog xxxxxxx
I’m so glad that your attempt wasn’t successful and that you found a reason for overcoming your demons. Be kind to yourself and keep on moving forward
@@cherisong1 thank you xxx
I'm so glad you're here to tell me that 💜 Stay strong mate 👍🏻
Wonderful and honest. Thanks for sharing you journey.
You're welcome, Mary. Thank you ❤️
Absolutely love this, especially all the pictures of you both from over years of being together.
Haha! He would too 🤣
I understand how much a relief it can be to have a answer.
I'm so sorry to hear that, David 💜
I do not think I have come across a more honest and forthright couple in all of my 6 plus decades on this planet, it is a absolute joy and a privilege to be able to follow your trials and tribulations on your journey through the canals of the Uk. Good luck to you both, your lifestyle in my youth was frowned upon, but your openness, has I believed changed not only mine but many other people’s attitudes. I salute you both
Thank you so much! 👍🏻💜
🤣
"It felt pretty big in me". Look at the sly grin on Shaun's face when you said it. Another good video guys and never knew you two were dive instructions.
Glad you enjoyed it
This is one of my favorite episodes!! You adorable, happy souls!!! 🦋 You make me smile.
Loved this - as a relative newcomer to your channel it was great to hear your back story. You’re both amazing people, in different ways, and great advocates for mental health, healthy relationships, loving who you want to love, and open, honest discussion. 💙
Thank you so much xx
Two soul mates together for ever. Brilliant video. Many thanks from Chris and Jane 🏖
Aww, thanks guys! I hope you're enjoying Turkey! ☀️
Definitely a little naughty 🤣❤️
LOVE that you two are still loving and committed to each other. I wish you many more years happily together... whatever direction you decide to take. I discovered your channel through a friend's smart TV who loves watching you and narrowboats on TH-cam. A joy to now have you on my Subscribers 😍😍😍
Thank you so much!!
Much love! 💜
@@FoxesAfloat thank you 😊 the more open and honest we are about it, the better and more accepting it will be for everyone 🤞🙌
It’s still hard to believe we have the following we have xxxx
I love the innuendos!
Shaun laughing uncontrollably
Colin asks “You alrrighh?”
Keep these amazing vlogs coming guys. Any chance you can start 2 vlogs a week when you get the new boat. We need more!!!
Ah, it takes us a week to film and edit just one 🤣
Thank you Gentlemen for this glimpse into your lives pre TH-cam. Each week you come into our lives, share stories, locations, and experiences and we appreciate it more than you know. A great big Canadian bear hug for you both, and of course a good chin scratch for Otis. Take care, drink the wine, and love deeply.
Always appreciate a big bear hug, thank you xxx
You two are so adorable and I enjoy watching your videos SO much.
Thanks for sharing your time together. You’re a perfect match and you make work ❤️. Enjoy your time . Excited to see the next boat and your adventures ❤️
You are so welcome!
We just love you two, laughs all the way when you were telling the story of how you meet and got upto. Another great vlog from you.
Thanks Phil!
Thanks for sharing, guys! And . . . I've got to burp! 😂😂😂 I've said it before and I really mean it: the main thing about these vlogs is the relationship between you two. You are really in my mind the very idea of a good married couple. It makes me happy to see it.
Aww, thanks James!
What an absolutely fantastic backstory....from an awesome couple. You two are truly amazing, each in your own right......love getting to spend a few minutes with you each week.
Thank you so much, Shawn ❤️
wow really nice pics of you two from a long time till now. Did not know you guys new each other that long. good job and hope you to have the best years yet to come from Sarnia Ontario Canada. ty for sharing your life
Glad you enjoyed it, Sally xx
I really like your stories. Keep it coming. It gives me entertainment while I care for my mom.
Awww thank you, Kaimi. ❤️❤️
Hope your Mom is ok ❤️❤️❤️
Hi guys, we look forward to every episode. You tell a tale with an honesty that is so very refreshing. Thank you for sharing some of your past journey it was a privilege to watch. My wife and I found this very inspiring. We have been together for over 40 years and know the value of loving and being loved. So glad you found each other. Keep up the good work and hitting us with unusual and interesting facts along the way. Love to both. Peter
Our pleasure! Thank you so much! 👍🏻💜
So great to hear your story. You are both the quintessential lovely couple.
Thank you! 👍🏻💜
You two are so wise! My husband and I truly enjoy watching the episodes and the vicarious view of long boat life. Much love from Beaverton, Oregon where we have no lovely canals to motor down.
Aww, thanks, Sally!
My sentiments exactly "One Per". Amid all the narrowboat vlogs yours is the one I look forward to and I'm nearly always surprised to find out it's Friday again! Stay well you two.
John, Ontario, Canada
Thanks so much, John.
Thank you! I think a lot of people worry about that. x
Enjoy your Hobbies!
Make some videos!
You boys are such an inspiration. Thank you.
Our pleasure!
Okay guys. This is one of my favorite episodes. My wife and I watch every Friday and have seen every episode. Thanks for sharing your lives. Feels like you're family.
Our pleasure!
It’s nice to see a lad and his dad getting outdoors together and doing stuff
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
My Grandson was lucky to be diagnosed with Autism at 18 months old, He is an amazing boy now 5 being home schooled by my daughter. When he was diagnosed we started looking into how Autism varies so much from boys to girls and BANG all of a sudden everything fell into place ( His Mum is Autistic too) Autism was never mentioned when she was growing up but it sure explains how she was as a child. Love them both dearly.
So sweet! Loved too! 💜
You are in good company my hero in the climate debate is Greta Thunberg who also has Autism and when she was 15 had a US president acting like a child but maybe in hind sight
that was his normal behaviour. 😊
Great episode! Your honesty about the struggles with anxiety and depression even after the diagnosis of being on the spectrum were more helpful than you can possibly know. Huge hugs from Ontario 🇨🇦. 🤗
Thanks so much, Patricia 👍🏻💜
I wish I could describe the happy face that comes over me when watching you guys. Part of it I think, is as they say in Thailand you both have 'Jai Di' or 'chai di', depending on the region. It means good heart, actually heart good, as a lot here is said back to front. Meaning people with no bad in them, and who want to look after and be kind to others.
Awwww glad we can make you happy xxs
This was absolutely delightful. Thank you
Our pleasure!
Haha! Always talking about toilets 🤣
Hi I'm 12 and would love to live on a narrowboat when I'm older and I'm so thankful for your videos because you show me new things I Diddent know and I love it when I see you upload every time so thanks and I can't wait for the new boat thx 😁
Aww, that's so cool. Thank you!
I was in tears before the four minute mark 🤣
Life on the cut is definitely in my future.
Well said!
WOW Awesome comments. Thank you so much 🙏❤️
thanks again for talking about some of your challenges. I struggle every day with depression and know I'm not alone. Sean is amazing and so are you.
I have to agree with David. This is, hands down, your best one yet! Thank you for this. I look forward every week here to my Thursday afternoon break so I can settle in and soak it all in. Keep living the dream (mine too), thanks again. All the best from the West (coast) of BC, Canada! 🇨🇦🇬🇧❤
Glad you enjoyed it!
Awwwwww, you two are so damn cute! Thank you for some history on the two of you. I appreciate how open and honest you both are to us the people who found your channel. And ,what One Per wrote says it all. Love and companionship is what really matters. Gender does not matter.........the heart does.!
Exactly! x
I hope you two guys have as long or longer to enjoy each other and qualify to occasionaly get
on each others wick. Best regards
Thanks so much, Rob!
Wow you have done so much in your short lives and more to come. Thank you for sharing all of this with us. Good luck with the weeks/months/years ahead.
Thank you so much!
29 years your an inspiration to us all long may it continue
Let's hope so!
great to get your back story. love the photos of you both - you look so good together. I am so enjoying your channel and your adventures.
OMG I'm so so sorry to hear of your loss. Sending load of hugs and love your way ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
@@FoxesAfloat Thank you both of you.
Then she looked a me and said, "How come you couldn't do that." 🤨
haha! Love it 🤣
No matter the day I’m having, yous two always make me smile! 💖😀
Aww, nice one!
100% agree with your last statement.
I'd rather deal with my baggage while out in the bush camping than in a rental with noisy neighbours which only exacerbates the condition.
Love to you both, and thank you for sharing your journey together.
Well said 👍❤️
Hi you two💜Thank you for sharing your story. I found it touching and very generous of you letting us in to this personal story of your life. This was a great vlog as always. I will from now on be on constant look out for Portobello for every boat passing 😀 Have a lovelly week-end🌸
Thank you x
We really enjoyed this VLOG! We got to learn more about you both and the incredible lives you've led. So glad you could go narrowboating and live the good life now. 💋
Thank you so much!!
Thanks for this great video. Peace to you both.
Keep enjoying life. Stay well. Stay happy.
Thank you! x
Greetings from Chiapas, México. This was one of my all-time favorite vlogs. It was so nice to watch a bit of your history together. It's so good of you, Colin, to realize your mental situation and keep working on it and Shaun looks to have been a great support. 29 years is a long time. Congrats!
WOW thank you 👍❤️🙏
Thanks for sharing your life story guys. 29 years is incredible. Love it that you didn’t make it all sound perfect and your philosophy on life bears copying. ❤️
Thanks so much!!
Thank you x
Thank you for this episode. I found it quite emotional. You are both really good decent men, as well as nuts. Again thank you for sharing this.
We are definitely not nuts....... Insane is the worse you're looking for 🤣
Yous two are so funny and just amazing to watch, every time yous release a video it has me hooked and I can't stop watching, was lovely to hear your story aswell and thank you for sharing it even with a lot of strangers, all the beat to yous both
Thanks so much, Sean!
Such a beautiful example of what relationships are meant to be. Thank you for sharing.
Our pleasure!
My God....I didn't realize you had been together so long! Happy to see it. Wish you many more years.....and thanks for sharing your story. Helps put things into perspective.
Thank you so much!
