The same way she played Kiran & he played Shekhar in Do Kaliyan (1968)- Indian version of the Disney classic The Parent Trap (1961) (also released in 1997 with Lindsay Lohan, Dennis Quaid & Natalie Richardson), its the same scenario here- Mala Sinha & Biswajeet Chatterjee made a sweet 🎂🍰jodi (on screen couple). I will say this though- I feel a little sorry for Mala Sinha though, when she was to win the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award 🏆she in a way sort of turned it down, claiming that it did not mean anything (at least in the sunset/winter years of her life). She narrated a story that when she was nominated twice she dressed up & attended the awards function but lost to another heroine!!!! Sometimes an artist work should speak for itself, awards aren't everything- after a while they will collect dust & you will forget (bhool gaya sab kuch) on what occasion & where you were when you won the award. Why does Shshikala remind me of Indira Gandhi (1917-1984)- sorry for the reference!!! 😂😎 Rest in Peace ☮️🕊️🕊️🌹🌹🌹🌹Dadamoni (1911-2001)- Ashok Kumar & Shashikala Jwalkar (1932-2021) You both are greatly missed, but we have so many priceless/precious memories of you.
