Chittagong War Cemetery || চট্টগ্রাম যুদ্ধ কবরস্থান

War Cemetery is 22 km from Shah Amanat International Airport. Entry is open for visitors daily from 9 am to 12 noon and 3 pm to 5 pm, this schedule may change slightly during winter season. Although visitors have open access to this noise free tomb area, sitting is strictly prohibited. There are about 400 graves of soldiers killed in World War II. But currently there are 755 tombs here.
Initially, around 400 bodies could be buried in this cemetery under the supervision of the army. Also, after the war, additional bodies were shifted from Lusai, Dhaka, Khulna, Jessore, Cox's Bazar, Dhawa Palang, Dohazari, Rangamati, Patia and other temporary burial grounds to this burial ground.
