I've been practicing your kitties to learn how to use coloured pencil and your geometric shapes are so satisfying. I do Persian calligraphy with a lot of Muslim motifs that are entirely based on geometry. I love your cirlces and triangles and out of perspective planes 💓
@@katnero8 I don't do social media cz I'm a scientist and do art mostly for my upcycle'n (I upcycle everything and anything). usually I don't sell things. I trade them or I make them by using their own items and clothing as a gift. social media scares me and has caused me trauma in the past. online mobbing is v serious to me. thank you for your interest tho. i wish i could feel comfortable enough that I could share.

When I was little, I found a set of World’s Smallest coloured pencils & they were ridiculously & adorably tiny!!! I just wish that they weren't so easy to lose cos i owned them about 4 hours before they were gone. I hope you don't ever misplace those wee crayons!!
I dont hate it, man! I'm not a fan of soft crayon texture but for this piece, it works. Also - you are SO BRAVE for using microns over crayons 🤣 I'm thoroughly impressed! Hehee

Hey Kasey, I too am into crayons, however I actually love crayons like are vintage, have you ever tried vintage crayons or cross check them with recent colours, I found some interesting findings when I did mines
I'm curious, what size are the Micron pens? Knowing the size would give context to just how teeny tiny this drawing is and make it all the more impressive. I'm always impressed you never break the crayons, too. I break crayons like Mr. Incredible breaks ringing phones 😆
I was going to comment that Crayon Rocks are smaller than these crayons, but I just looked them up and they're far bigger than their jelly bean shape would suggest. Still, I'd love to see a video of you drawing with them. Their shape looks like it could be a lot of fun, but they're made with unusual ingredients, so will they draw well?
For such a difficult set of parameters you rose to the challenge with gusto! Great job. Hopefully you were able to save your pen. (I just bought a set of microns on amazon for $11 last week btw. I don’t know how long they’ll have that price there, though. 😅)

Yeah, Microns tend to not agree with thick lumpy textures like crayon wax. I find that regular old office pens work fantastic with crayons though!
