The singer is Yama-b (2003-2008). I'm surprised that you said it's the same person because their Sound is Completely different lol. And their style was different too. Syu (The guitarist) and YUHKI (The keyboardist) are the only members that didn't change. They have 5 albums with The older singer and 9 albums with The Current singer. I recommend you to react to older galneryus more (alongside with The Current galneryus). Yama-b chest voice is quite impressive. And he singed this very hard song after singing for 2 hours (and it's the last song). It's very impressive. Their songwriting here is as impressive as now (you just have to listen to them more)
Only the guitar player (Syu) and the keyboardist (Yuhki) are the same members as in the previous reactions. The band was formed by Syu and the singer you watched in this video, Yama-B. Stuff happened like in so many bands and people started leaving and being replaced by others, the usual drill.

Only bass player and singer are different, the band started in 2001 by Syu (the guitarist) and YAMA-B (the singer in this song) but the band actually only really started when Yuhki (the keyboardist) in 2003 officially joined the band after only being a supporting musician before, he is still the current keyboardist and Jun-ichi joined in 2003 (he was the drummer until 2016), bassist kept changing until Taka came in 2009.
If you see description of the band you might get the impression the lineup changed a lot but most of the changes happened before when the band was still starting.
Now the band has mostly kept the same since 2009 except for the dummer who changed.
Basically Galneryus had 2 phases :
2001-2008 : The lineup in this song
2009-Now : the lineup in all the other songs you've seen
Yama-B who sings here left the band in 2008 and was replaced on vocals by Sho! And it shows! 🤟

@@rismari9545 that's fine. I like some things in Yama-b more and the same goes for SHO. But my style is more towards yama-b. He is a Really great singer. You should check him more
@@rismari9545 hmm i listened Galneryus from 2006,but personally i like both, Yama-B 's voice is more deeper/operatic, then Sho' s voice is more higher, clean, idk how explain..

@@SeFFiroth59_Ekyhe was old lmao. He is 56. Yama-b relys more on his chest voice (Lower tone) while SHO relys more on his Head voice (although he can do a pretty good job with The Lower Notes) but yama-b has more Power and strain on the Lower Notes

Bass player in this period is Leda (goes by the name Yu-to then), who later became a guitarist for Babymetal's kami band, among many other projects.

This is the same guitar player and keyboard player. Syu (guitar) has been there since 2001.
I also think the same drummer but you could've already seen two different drummers. The drummer in this video left in 2016.

So they changed quite a bit over the years. I am not sure why there are sometimes multiple people on the same instrument. The numbers behind the name are because of the way that website works for multiple musicians with the same name. But basically anything newer will probably had at least somewhat of a different lineup. The only one I know of these is the drummer Fumiya (2016.06 - 2020.06.19) who also plays for Unlucky Morpheus.
As far as the song goes, I am usually not a fan of their sound (and "epic" sounding power metal in general), but I at least enjoyed this one somewhat. It's certainly one of the more enjoyable tracks that I can remember. It's probably the "grandness" that I typically don't enjoy as much I guess.
If you don't like The Current galneryus. Definitely listen to The older galneryus (this singer). Their Sound was Completely different. Yama-b is amazing. You are honestly not the first one who told me that and gave me some recommendations. I am still planning on giving Galneryus reactions a shot every once in a while but power metal is just not my favourite genre in. I can hear they are all great musicians though.
Some power metal bands work for me better than others (Unlucky Morpheus is one of them because of Jill's violin) and I have tried to at least be able to enjoy the genre more. Some of the bands that have grown on me over time include Mary's Blood and Lovebites, but I do still prefer their tracks that are more rooted in heavy metal or thrash metal over the pure power metal tracks and I have to be in the mood. I just generally am not a fan of "epic" sounding music, it sometimes reminds me of music that is played in Disney cartoons and things like that and that type of music also never did it for me (btw, I mean that with the utmost respect and not as a slight).
But again, I will continue to check them out every once in a while. I don't mind you giving me a recommendation for an album to check out or something like that. I don't know if I will buy it or not, but I will at least have a list of tracks to watch out for if I see them pass by.

Btw they are more neoclassical than Power metal

Thanks for the recommendations! I have always read they were Neoclassical Power Metal, I guess I just focused more on the Power Metal part than the Neoclassical part (which I don't dislike, Unlucky Morpheus sometimes has that angle as well). But genres are very fluid anyway and different to everybody.
I will try to give some of them a listen, I will probably avoid the ballads though since ballads usually don't work as well for me (with some exceptions).

Please check out Whisper in the Red Sky from the same album, the album version is much more enjoyable in my opinion

The bass player at this time was Leda from the Babymetal backing band (the Kami band), going under the name Yu-To!
at this time babymetal doesn't even exist, he was the guitarist of deluhi
I recommend you listen more to older galneryus too (alongside with The Current galneryus of course). I recommend NEW LEGEND (MV-not live) and EVERLASTING (2007 album version, not MV it's shorter, not live)
