- Stina Blackstenius is officially staying in north London, having just signed a new contract with the club.
In celebration of her putting pen to paper, Stina's teammates recorded some heartfelt messages to congratulate her.

Next year Stina will be at the top of the WSL scoring if given more time. I think the coach has finally realized that she can score important goals and scoring is an area that needs improvement. She also needs more WSL starts next year. I voted for her as player of the year because to me she was (but second is good)!! Congrats Stina!

Stina gives Arsenal that outlet up front. I watch her forward play; she is always open to receive the pass, long ball or short. She moves constantly, so defenders have to be switch on for the full 90 minutes. She is quick, she is strong… and she scores the goals😉 Glad you signed!
I love watching Stina, she’s so exciting to watch. I would have loved to hear from Lacasse and some of the others.
Stina has been a favourite for a couple of years - works so hard and scores crucial goals. The only bad thing you could say is that her goals gave Chelsea the title!

kinda explains why they didnt offer Viv a contract. Stina has been great for Arsenal, is probably cheaper, and more reliable injury wise. a lot of drama surrounding Viv not being offered, but when you think logically about this, it makes sense. dont need Stina, Russo and an oft injured Viv. Viv is a near legend, things happen though, and its a business first and foremost. gratz to Stina, well earned. Meado wasnt terrible in this vid, but you could tell she knew what this meant for Viv. i expect her to want out as well.

Why is the manager staying, can't get the best out of the team, best player ever gone, Stina not a constant in the team, glad she is staying though , will she have more chances to play.
So happy. I actually think Stina’s role has been a bit of a mistreatment playing her as an impact sub most of the time. She’s our best attacker.
I hope they give her medical help with her back and shoulders, after she had to carry the team the whole season.

Having watched the team for many many seasons I can say she is in the wrong team. She has no ball control, no football brain, unable to complete simple passes let alone cross field ones like Viv, runs around a lot but very rarely puts in a tackle, is great at pointing and ordering other players where to go so she does not have to, does not have a good conversion rate but is lucky. She does not link up with her team mates which is most likely why they tend to ignore her runs. If Arsenal do not buy another top proven striker they will fail again next year and Jonas will be sacked.
What is this about? So cringy. Trying to cover up the Miedema catastrophe.
This is a joke !!!! Arsenal know that letting Viv go and keeping Stina is not what most fans want. She does not suit Jonas's style of play. Only good against teams who push up and leave space behind. but her conversion rate is poor, she has been lucky her team mates create so many chances.
Great signing for Stockholm Arsenal team. When are Arsenal going to sign any players who look like actual Londoners, because this white player only policy is not winning them any titles.
