In this lesson, you will learn how to calculate the combinations for a sequence of data and determine how the number of combinations differ from the permutations that we learned in a previous lesson. a combination is the number of ways objects can be ordered without regard to the order of selection of the objects. In other words, a selection of all or part of a set of objects or numbers, without regard to the order in which they are selected from the pool. For example, if we have 3 letters but only take them two at a time, we can calculate how many combinations in which we can make the selections.
Wow. Better than almost every single college professor I've ever had. I'm 46 and currently in Stats. Sadly, my professor is not the greatest at her profession. Being knowledgeable in a subject does not equate to being a good educator. You are top-notch.
same here
I have exam tomorrow n the lecturer never tought this but he's going to set am now confident
Love it! I watched these couple times and now I'm confident! Thank you so much!
Thank you for this. You are an excellent teacher.
You have exemplary writing. Thank you for good example.
Thanks very much ! This is what my school teacher denied me at advanced school level.Anyhow ,i managed to pass and join university .I blame most school teachers for being mean and not teaching relevant maths topics that would further their understanding and scientific applications as they join University.
I agree. It’s sad.
Thanks you sir
I am just learning step by step ❤️🙏🏿
Thanks for your wonderful explanations!
tthanks mr amazing lecture
Given a question which states that
A committee of 7 members is to be chosen from 6 chartered accountants, 4 economists and 5 cost accountants.in how many ways can this be done in the committee ? There must be at least one member of each group and at least 3 chartered accountants.
I really need help solving this one please
Thank you so much for your amazing lessons!!
Love this thank you for your awesome videos
Glad you like them!
@@MathAndScience back for some more! Happy new year from Sweden 🇸🇪
How do we prove that the number of combinations is always a positive integer?
How do we prove that the number of combinations is not an increasing function of the number r elements selected from a total of n elements?
I need to know.... if you have a list of 40 people.... and 6 are chosen at random..... the likelihood of 3 specific individuals being in the said group of 6. I can't find this solution anywhere
Good 👍👍 lesson thank very much dear teacher
You are very welcome
In the video about permutations, I don't understand how the 6 pictures hanging on the wall are permutations, because the order didn't matter. I thought that would be a combination.
Help me someone 😃
It keeps saying almost all of your videos are unavailable 🙁
Thank you so much incredible teach!!!
You're very welcome!
thanks sir.
Anyone here younger than 18? 🥳
Please can you help me with this question. 3. In a fuel economy study, each of 3 race cars is tested using 5 different brands of gasoline at 7 test sites located in different regions of the country. If 2 drivers are used in the study, and test runs are made once un- der each distinct set of conditions, how many test runs are needed
Nice 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Nice
Thanks
