I’m an engineer so I knew I could build a better incubator than the available ones.
The BEST thing I added to my incubator was the option to run an oxygen line for when the puppies need it. (Specially if one or two puppies get sick it helps greatly)
I also control the air quality with a particulate sensor and all the airflow going into the storage tote passing through a hepa filter. Maintaining slightly positive air pressure at all times so nothing can flow into the incubator.
I used an arduino microcontroller for the brains. That controls heating, cooling, humidity, it monitors Co2 and oxygen levels at all times.
It will send me text messages through LTE network when ANYTHING is off. so it’s not dependent on unreliable wifi networks.
built my incubator using a 70 ish quart storage tub.
I used a heating pad instead of a bulb because I found it to have a more steady temperature even when the cooling fan is on. That also helped the cooling fan work more efficiently.
OF COURSE ITS WAYYYY over engineered but it gives me peace of mind.
Great work

Hi, how would you add an oxygen line to this
Awesome Sir✊🏿👌🏿
💯💯💯💯
Wicked video!
Was wonder what about oxygen? How do the pups get air?
Oxygen is only added in emergency situations. There’s plenty air
This is a great setup! Question, is the fan working as an exhaust pulling heat out or intake blowing cool air in?
Yes it pulls the heat out to cool it down
Please let me know about oxygen. I saw an oxygen concentrator being used at the vet. Thanks
Only for emergency situations
In need help with the humidifier always stard on work #1 no let me do on work #1
Did you figure it out
Do you plug the temperature controller into work 2 or another outlet
The other one I believe
When does the fan come on?
@@AlliedVending when the temperature exceeds whatever degree you set it at. It’s a cooling fan
@@BulldogBreeder Thanks for all the information
Why didn't you put the fan on the side?
Why do you want the fan on the side ?
@@BulldogBreeder LOL, because it seemed to have more space on the side versus the back. Cool design bro I'm not trolling. I was just wondering
Edit: I love the fact that you go through and read every comment. It shows you really love all this ❤️
The temp controls go on side & humidifier on the other side
I got the same setup but the temperature is not going over 72 Fahrenheit
Either your thermostat is wrong or you need a bigger bulb
Is there a way I can contact you?
I setup the thermostat at 86 degrees and 3 degrees of differential value and it still doesn’t go up
BigBoneBulldogs@gmail
My 25 watt bulb doesn’t get passed 75 degrees.
You might have a large enclosure
Is your litter box the jumbo or regular at tractor supply?
Works with either
