im a novel reader and prapai is really what sky needed, i know its hard to understand or see in the beginning but prapai is very sweet and caring… he did not trigger sky’s ptsd, his ptsd was triggered because his ex is also a racer but it’s not necessarily because of what prapai is doing to him. sky needs time to open up and prapai will respect that. i understand why everyone’s misunderstanding this but yall should give them time too 😭 its literally just ep 2 of their story. also what we need to keep remembering is that prapai doesn’t know anything abt sky and he’s always just had sex with people, he doesn’t know better
Exactly as someone who has read the novel pai was someone i fell in love with especially in the last few chapters. He went from someone i wanted to slap at first to one of my favorite bl novel characters.
In the novel when prepai told sky to sleep with him ..he was actually kidding and more like playing with naive sky just to see a reaction but he was shocked by sky easily accepting and i guess when he saw sky being into it he went along with his joke
Sky and Pai's storyline has a very different feel to it than the with the previous two. My heart is already breaking for Sky. The actor who plays him is doing an amazing job of portraying all those hidden, deep emotions. Well done to him. Great reaction as always Tita Josie 👏
I think what Prapai is doing will help Sky. Prapai has to break through this huge wall of defense Sky has put up to protect himself. Prapai will show him that he is worth loving... I think Prapai is good for Sky He needs someone he won't back down, and can be scared away so easily. Sky seems to want to like Prapai, but his pain won't let him... that's what I see. They are sooooo cute. I just love these four guys. They are doing a good job to be newbies...😍😍😍😍
Sky doesn't look like someone who'd seek therapy. They started off with the wrong foot, but Phai didn't know about Sky's background. As soon as he decides to pursue Sky, he is very serious about it. He takes great care of Sky and is always reaffirming how much he likes him and that it's not about sex. Sky has problems with self-esteem, he thinks he is just an object and that he is all alone in this world. Phai's persistence and care will be very important for him. Therapy would be the best, sure, but I think Phai is helping a lot given the circumstances. He'll show Sky that the boy is worth loving.
See, we the audience know the trauma Sky has been through , but Pai doesn't yet .So if and when Sky decide to share with him, my hope for him is that : his love is genuine enough and he can be the support that Sky needs ....
Lotta people are kinda shittin' on Pai but even though he started off with a "i'm rich and hot so I get what I want" kinda attitude, I feel like he is super sincere and may feel like Sky is just playing hard to get so he tries harder and since he has no idea regarding Sky's trauma, he shouldn't be judged so harshly about his actions to try to give gifts and contact him and stuff. Although he insinuated Sky had no choice initially, did Sky say no or fight him at all like "hell no I won't sleep with you!"? No, he didn't at all and Sky is a sassy prince and Sky saying "take what you want from me" with no fight at all? To me that gives mixed messages to Pai and it's due in part to his trauma but he still didn't ever say no. Maybe had he put up a fight with Pai at the beginning or even say no at all, then Pai would have just flirted and let him go, but he found Sky attractive, Sky quickly consented and bam, they had sex and it wasn't rape because Pai really didn't force him. Sky's trauma has nothing to do with Pai (meaning Pai didn't cause it) and since Pai had no idea of it, his actions shouldn't be held against him in that regard. I feel heartbroken for what Sky went through, but I don't think Pai is such a horrible guy like everyone seems to be insinuating...
Okay when it comes to that scene where sky says take what you want it's not that he did not want to say no it's the fact that how victims rationalize how others see them (this I can totally explain but to say, mind you the stuff that happen to Sky happens to real people as well. when your a victim it does not matter how long ago it was it stains your brain for a long time after) yes he did not fight because he thought prapai was the same as his ex always wanting something and not caring for anything or any oneelse. also remember Sky is a victim that had all this stuff happen and that all he knows how to do to defend himself. But having prapai there will help Sky recover but it's a long road when your with a survivor it takes time and patience to be with them to make them feel comfortable (f you get me. ( some of the stuff Sky went thru I was in those shoes and I am happy a bl drama had the nerve and guts to even touch on the subject and bring certain parts from the novel in I agree with the flash dreams skys having me mind y did will portraying it I cant wait for the next episode. And I love how the actor Peat is going about it. Perfect .
@@xxena22 I totally get that, and I have different triggers from my own traumas, but my point is mainly for people to stop blaming Pai for everything. How Sky rationalizes every situation, due to his trauma, is a personal issue. Just cuz he assumed Pai was the same as the others doesn't make Pai the same nor does it mean we should treat Pai that way right out the gate. I have had to unlearn behaviors myself because I would react from past trauma but that doesn't mean I get to project onto others because of that trauma, it's my job to work through that and get help from it. Sky hasn't and it's unfortunate for sure. How Sky took the situation, as a victim, is his own 'choice' even if based on past trauma. Because Pai had no idea he was making his decision based off his trauma and maybe was just throwing the idea out to see how Sky would react, we shouldn't take it out on Sky as if he actually forced him and raped him. That's mainly what I wanted to get across cuz every reaction i've seen is "what Pai did in the first episode was horrible" and acting as if he is so bad when I feel as if there is so much more to these last 2 episodes than face value. @@gigglemethis I appreciate your thoughts as well and I know everyone has there own trigger points but some people deal with theres in differnt ways I dont think Sky at fault nor do I think Prapai was either I just think it's the personality you cant always fix what's broken but there are some people that try to fix themself or they even have others that try helping I was putting the point accross that it takes someone strong to help someone that was a survivor of his issues. I had his issues before but like I said everyone recovers there own way either by them self or some one like prapai that will end up taking his time effort and patience to help Sky heal some need help by others and some need help by just working on them self 🥰💝💚🧡💙💜❤🖤 but for your issue I am glad you where able to fix it and for mine I am able to as well but once a person dont believe in themself it hard for them self to get out of it and they need a lot of assurance you know .

A lot of BLs touched many subject as we know. But I feel like it's the first time we have it to this extend! I feel like it's good that they are touching on this subject with Sky character. I really just need to get my emotions ready for this, cause it's not as fluffy as Rain and Payu and I am ready to beat up whoever hurt my beautiful Sky 😤!
I agree with you not alot of bl touch on the subject but I believe it's because they dont want to offend people that went through that type of drama its reality really it happens to men and women but not everyone like to touch on the subject due to that Sky character went thru hell and back and his walls are high and it a good reason they are. My Emotions poor baby Sky , Peat is doing a good job portraying him. Sky might need therapy but he also needs a person there that he can rely on in his everyday life (his friends won't always be there). I think it's important to remember that we have a lot of context that Pai doesn't have. Before we get mad at him for like texting and calling and flirting and stuff like that. I think he is curious to know about Sky's past and why he is the way he is. that's why he was going to ask Rain about Sky's ex but obviously Rain has no idea.
I was really looking forward to Sky and Prapai's romance earlier in the series. Now that it's here, I wish I could see more of the lovey dovey of Rain and Payu more... I need some sweetness in my life.
I'm confused about Sky and Rains relationship. Rain doesn't know anything about his friend. Sky ex made him believe he didn't deserve to be loved. He smiled a few time with Pai then seemed guilty about it. You have to remember Pai doesn't know what happened to Sky. All he knows is he crazy about someone he met 3 months ago and never want to let him go. It's Pai own love at first sight. Pai rushed to Sky side when he was sick. That's a man on a mission. Let's face it, if Sky wanted help he would have gotten it way before he met Pai. Pai not quitting to pursue Sky may actually help him not make things worse. Any other guy would run away from the situation.
First Sky didn't let anyone know his pass.Second No one know they had sex 3 months ago. Rain just pick up the phone ..not call for help...To Rain, he just know Prapai pursue Sky and Prapai is Phayu's good friend, maybe because of that point, so he trust him. (We knew Rain is too pure as a baby..)
Now I haven't read the book yet but as bad as their first encounter seems, I really don't think Pai truly intended to blackmail Sky. I think he thought he could use the situation to his advantage and tossed the idea out there in an attempt to pick Sky up because he was interested. I truly don't think he'd have really forced Sky to sleep with him if he'd have said no. Pai had no way of knowing Sky's acquiescence was a trauma response and not just him playing along. I have a feeling if and when he figures it out, he's going to feel like real crap. I also hope he DOES figure out who Sky'd Ex is because from what I have already been told... Well let's just say in some cases I DO condone violence...
Exactly with how his character was in the novel a single no would have made him let sky go. Sky on the other hand obviously had his reasons to question his intentions and thought he had no way out.
Honestly, though I totally agree with everyone's sentiment that Sky needs therapy more than a boyfriend, I think we're being a little unfair to Pai. He has no idea that he’s been triggering Sky’s PTSD or that overworking himself to distract from nightmares is why Sky got sick. Pai clearly has an inkling that Sky’s been through something, but he is not an expert on sexual assault or PTSD so he doesn’t know how serious and deep Sky’s trauma is. All he’s seen is some distrust of affection and that one moment of dissociation that he has no context for, he’s not been allowed to see all the other PTSD symptoms bc Sky’s trying to keep them hidden. It’s like trying to blame a blind person for stepping on an ant hill. At this point, based on the limited info he has, he probably just thinks that Sky had a garden variety bad breakup with his ex so has some trust and confidence issues, and given how their relationship started with a coerced hookup (that, to be clear, I think Pai still views as a mutual exchange bc he didn't make it clear to Sky that he was teasing/joking at the track, and would have just taken Sky home if Sky hadn't misunderstood it as a serious threat) he thinks that all he needs to do is work extra hard and be especially persistent to prove to Sky that he’s not just a rich playboy and that he's serious about loving Sky. And actually, yeah he is going to still need to do those things to win over Sky, but he also needs to get all the info on exactly what Sky’s going through in order to approach it more delicately and sensitively, and that’s something Sky is responsible for trusting him with when he’s ready. Plus, not everyone needs to put everything in their life on hold while they get professional treatment. As any therapist will tell you, therapy is just 1 tool for managing your mental health, and it should always be used alongside other tools like medication, lifestyle changes, family support, self care, hobbies, exercise, etc. For certain situations it can be necessary to put things like dating on hold until you’ve put in the work to get to a more stable place emotionally. But that’s not always the case, sometimes you need real people to help you through the bad times who aren't being paid by the hour. And I can even see a storyline where Sky realizes that he has serious work to do on himself before he's ready for a relationship and Pai respects his needs by taking a step back to give him space to figure things out, then they time just a little to a happier, more stable Sky who comes along to pursue Pai and sweetly flips their dynamic. Or maybe Pai sticks by him to offer comfort as he works through his trauma. That's also a valid path to recovery. Leaning on your loved ones for advice and support doesn't negate any professional help you get for your mental health, they can go hand-in-hand. Sky also needs to take more responsibility for his own mental health and wellbeing. Even if he'd never met Pai, avoiding and repressing his trauma clearly isn't working and all that pain would have come back to the surface eventually. I think what the show is trying to tell us about Sky is that he genuinely wants to love again bc he's got sooo much love to give, but he won't allow himself to get hurt again so he's ruled out romantic relationships as an option. He's also got serious control issues, bc if he can control his life then he can pretend the trauma never happened and pretend that he's fine. That's why he's so focused on school and always helping others with their work and problems, it makes him feel needed and valued which he needs to get from somewhere other than romantic partners.
Okay let us not forget that considering how cool Pai is, if Sky didn't wanna give in on episode one he would have let him go and I don't think he was gonna throw him back to the guards. They both might have started off on the wrong foot but they both did feel good about that night, the difference is Sky has this thick wall which he built that prevents him from thinking about that night. I love that Sky now has a person that he can lean on without that person being one of his friends or family member. The problem with SA victims is that everything seems to be okay until someone tries to get to know you then all those nightmares comes back pouring like it just happened yesterday. Pai will definitely break down the walls and I'm living for the episode where Sky can finally let it all out, breath and embrace the love he will receive from Pai.
Poor Sky, he's so traumatized after what his ex and his ex's friends did to him and he doesn't know who he can trust, he's so afraid that anybody he might get close to might do the same thing to him that his ex did, Pai is trying so hard but the harder he tries the more traumatized Sky is getting. Pai doesn't know what happened to Sky, if he did he would make sure that his ex and friends pay for what happened, he loves Sky and the sooner he finds out the better. Sky's nightmares are getting worse and worse as he remembers what happened to him, he doesn't sleep because he doesn't want to dream and remember what happened, his body is exhausted to the point of him getting sick and passing out., I love the way that Pai took care of him and I wish that we could get a little sweet from Payu and Rain, I miss them and their sweetness soooo much, especially right now after seeing what Sky has been through
This episode… all I wanted to do was hug and cry with Sky! Tita, I understand that Sky has to face his demons before he can find happiness, but all I could think was: Pai! Leave Sky alone. Him on the bed crying “Leave me alone! Stop texting me! Stop calling me! Leave me alone!” Broke me!
Tito, i think Pai leaving Sky alone to heal isn't the answer, sometimes you need someone to be there for you and talk to, if Pai really want to stay, he can help him heal and also help regain his self-esteem. I mean what's the point if he heals on his own and meet another person who is like his ex again, you can never really know somebody, it doesn't have to be a relationship but to me Sky needs to talk to someone about what he's going through.
i 100% agree with you what you said towards the end, with P'prai though and the insititant messages as well as rain bluntly commenting about his ex you saw him get mad at himself for going at rain that way. he knows rain isn't at fault. and as for P'pai and the constant texts and the way sky keeps pleading to stop texting him, sky doesn't want to let anyone else in because if he goes further he's afraid of being used and thrown away again. p'pai has never really properly pursued anyone so his constant actions may seem annoying and downright wrong to a lot of people, but in getting to know sky he's slowly realizing that he himself is changing. thst he's really putting in the effort and pai wants sky to know that he's putting in that effort not to be praised but to hope that sky will open up to him a bit. P'pai doesn't know that he has that past, so his constant curiousity is penetrating this invisible bubble. once it's popped and p'pai gets what really bothering him, I think pai will take the proper measurements to take more care of sky, to protect him, to begin letting sky trust p'pai more. for sky, i said this before, but when the hesitation to not let p'prai in disipates, sky will feel that not all guys are like his ex, that there will be people who want to love him for him whether it be a friend, family, or partner.
During the entire scene of pai taking care of sky, I literally kept screaming. I was like bro leave a sky alone and let him sleep and when he said “want me to kiss you?”, I was like bro no leave him alone AHHH
Sky's situation I can relate to bcoz one of my friend when through the same thing😞... Emotional breakdown destroy you really hard😪😔 and prapai did notice that something was off though..he really cares...lets hope sky can get through this at the end of the series🙏
Yeah Prapai’s advances triggered him, and him having feelings for prapai is not helping either. He needs to at least talk to his friend Rain. It’s really hurtful to see him going through that alone 😩😭
This episode broke me when i saw it today. I couldn't stop crying. Sky's actor is so amazing I was devastated... The way he was trying to convince himself that he was okay even when he's was not... I think Pai didn't help with the constant phone calls even if he meant no harm. Maybe when he will realize how much Sky is hurting he will be less overbearing. In real life when someone insist while the other person say no, they are too much but for some reasons many people are defending Pai (I don't need to read the novel to know insisting is bad). I don't hate him (I actually loved his sweetness at the end of the episode) I just want him to realize that what he's doing is bad. He seems to only want good things for Sky so thankfully we will see the change soon.
I think you dont get Pai. Yes, he is egoistic player but he is not bad person. He is hot af and he knows it. He probaly always has just to say one word and people go with him. I think he just tried pick up Sky on that race and wasnt that serious. But Sky past and low self esteem kicked in before Pai had chance realize something was wrong. For him it was normal one night stand that developed in something more. And Sky wants love but his mental state isnt there yet. His walls are too thick. He needs buldozer to break them. Pai is that. And Sky will be good for Pai too. Someone needs keep his ego in check.
I also feel that these couple Prapai and Sky will be able to overcome whatever hiccups their soon to be facing. Sky needs help, he needs therapy and the only thing he can do is accept the fact that he needs help, and ask for Professional help or else it will end bad. Anxiety and depression do exist unless you do something about it, it will not go away. Change starts from within, it's not the end of the world - just reach out to someone.

I didn’t think Sky’s and Prapai’s story could be as good as Rain and Phayu, but I can already see that it is going to be good. It’s not going to light and fluffy, but I like deep stories/characters too.

In this episode P'Pai was such a cutie with Sky, is kindness and worried about him however he pursed and pressure to Sky that is forced, even though don't like it P'Pai your intention is good, he wants take care of him.
We all have been through something that’s traumatizing. So our instinct is to push people away and handle it ourselves. In the end we need someone to hold us and help us out . I’m happy to see sky has someone to be there for him ❤.
I loved Pete's acting...he was completely effortless n m sure he has grt potential as an actor...the discomfort n sadness was really conveyed very well...i did feel a lump in my throat.. I personally don't like the persuasion prapai is using...bcz to me it feels more like stalking...rather than continuous chasing texting n calling ...it wud be much better if he wud tell him that he is there fr him always whenever sky is ready to talk n open up.. I want to say urs is the only reaction that i watch...n i really like watching it...u not jus simply watch n be all happy go lucky about it but u also point out imp things n perspectives...here for eg about Pete's PTSD n his discomfort...it's nice hearing ur take on in along with watching.❤️❤️❤️
Sky is so fragile right now with no support. I agree that Prapai needs to figure out what's going on with Sky. But Sky hasn't told anyone not even Rain. We don't have that long for their relationship to develop and for Sky to get a happy ending. Unfortunately Prapai being a bulldozer might help Sky open up. Sky is craving love and affection. They are really following the novel ,so I am scared for future episodes and its really after rain mentioning about his ex from then onwards sky was having nightmares .
In my opinion he didn't do anything wrong to Sky if he thought Pai was a threat he would have been triggered from the start they didn't have the best coming together but if Sky resisted he wouldn't ave done it, Sky is getting triggered because he ave feelings for Pai and with him trying to resist the feelings is what is triggering him he needs to face it and be able to over come them also Pai is actually good for Sky because he will cause Sky to face his trauma cause he needs to he can't keep burying them..
Yes, according to the book Sky self esteem is too low and therefore he disagrees to the compliments of Prapai and thinks that no-one would be interested in him.
This was a very heavy episode. Rain giving the keys, I feel like he is just going to have Payu hold Phai accountable. I did want to point out that Sky seemed to be able to sleep finally in Phai's arms. The way they played this episode, Sky seemed to feel safe in his arms. He didn't have a nightmare and was able to sleep with Phai next to him. As for Phai, I do agree, he needs to understand what happened to Sky and also apologize for their night together. This is not really a push and pull type situation and there needs to be a lot more maturity in dealing with their connection. Till next time... Ciao.
Poor Sky. WTG stepping up to the plate Pai!!!! It shows your sincerity and maturity. I think Sky holds his cards close, not even trusting his friends, thus the reason Rain knows nothing. It’s a way of protecting himself. I wish I could hug him and tell everyone ti back off and give him a break and time to heal. It’s time to deal with some of those emotions buddy, before the trauma makes you miss out on life and love.
I think Prapai definitely needs to find out the reason why Sky is the way he is because all the things he did and is trying to do come off a bit tone deaf or he's not reading the room correctly. Also Prapai does not know what happened to Sky he is clueless right now. He does like Sky but Sky's PTSD is killing him slowly he needs someone to talk to and i just feel bad for Sky really. I don't think Pai is a bad guy he just doesn't have the proper information to make moves the right and proper respectful way but i'm crossing my fingers. Another great one Tita Josie.💜
In all fairness to Prapai, he doesn't have a clue as to what happened to Sky. I'm sure once he knows then of course he'll be more understanding towards Sky n turn it down with his advances.
Skys issue was really bad (Sky ex torched him. His ex used him like a toy and handed him around if you know what I mean) I get Sky and his many emotions ( I been there done that I had a ex like that) I was wondering how they were going to approach the situation and or how they are going to address the issues because it is a sensitive matter and can trigger lots of issues with the audience (because of the sensitive nature of what happen) So far #MeMindY is doing good job so far but cant wait for next episode that will tell more on how they will approach or address the issue of mental abuse and physical abuse I am really mad I want to beat Skys ex butt for real that's just not right his ex did a lot and that's why Skys walls are high. I think I can understand pai.. I mean what he is feeling is new For him. As 3rd party prescriptive He shouldn't have done what he Did with Sky.. But For his point of view sky Agreed.. Sky's ex really did put a number on him. He is so guarded and scared and sky is putting to much on his plate and he is tiring his self out. I think Pai have some work to do but I think they will make it work.
Prapai is laying it on thick with Sky, even though he said to stop. However, I think Prapai is being serious. Sky may not want to be his boyfriend, but I think for Prapai it is a a sense of feeling needed. Prapai seems aloof & goofy due to his playboy charm, but I think he can be deeply mature & wants to take care of those around him.
The maturity is shown in his personal life. In the throwaway statement made by his sister, he raised his siblings. So although he puts on the playboy airs for the general public and likes to have fun, he is actually quite mature, conscientious and caring. His good relationship with his younger siblings shows he did a good job, and his continued leadership of the family biz means he's responsible
Poor Sky. I hate what happened to him. That ex really was filth what he did to him, because it definitely seems like it was him was disgusting. I hope Sky tells Prapai or at least someone because he needs to talk about his trauma.

yes sky is traumatized by his past and I can understand his feelings why he do not want anyone in his life and i also agree that the way pai approch sky was wrong but now he started like sky he has feelings for sky in the series only sky's sides story we can see but when you see pai's side then you can understand about his feelings he genuinely cares about sky.

What Pai's did was wrong bc he didnt gave Sky a choice but to have sex with him if he really wanted to get out of that place, yes that's forcing someone to do something they don't what. But talk about Pai's trying to pursue Sky we have to understand that he doesn't knowing what happen to Sky in his pass. Also you can see that he's trying to get to know him, but of course on Sky side we know what he's going through. I get that MAME books are very popular, but she uses sexual assault indiscriminately on characters who have experienced it previously. In this episode Sky says that his previous encounter was out of necessity - he was forced/coerced to do it. For a victim this increases the trauma (as we can see in the increasing night terrors). She used coercion in TharnType when the first encounter between Tharn and Type is when Tharn goes down on Type in the bathroom without Types permission. I don't like reinforcing that dubious consent or flat out coercion are just NOT OK. Unfortunately there is a lot of that going around in the current BL series - both couples in this series; Big Dragon, KinnPorsche and even Love Mechanics with drunk/drugged participants, just to name the few that have aired this year. There are other ways to carry the enemies to lovers plot then non-con sex.
@Tito Miles & Tita Josie I think you are wrong about Prapai. He does not really need character development because for me he did nothing wrong to Sky. You can clearly see that when he met Sky he was interested and he threw the "sleep with me to get out" as a pick up line. It's Sky who took it seriously and he just along with it. Prapai thought he would throw a pick up line and hopefully get a steamy one night stand as usual not knowing that Sky has trauma. You are against Prapai because you feel bad for Sky ( Sky is a sweetheart), which is fine but you are putting too much pressure on Prapai which is not fair. Did prapai pick up line was of bad taste? Yes! But if Sky had said no, would Prapai have force him? The answer is NO judging by the way he behaves! Prapai is a teddy bear. And as time goes on, they will learn from each other and rely on each other too 😊

This episode makes the s*x in episode even worse. It was coerced and Sky was so aggressive as a way of trying to be powerful in the situation and not because of pleasure. And underscores my wish that Sky and Rain were older, at least 21 and were at work. Whatever happened to Sky happened when he was 18? That is too recent. I don't know why MAme likes putting sexual abuse as a character trope. It is gross, I don't think she knows how to depict it properly. Sky clearly isn't in therapy.
I have a problem when this shows include trauma in their plot. I’m sorry but is somewhat careless and dismissive of a very delicate theme. If you’re going to include something like that in your story at least address it with a little more care, don’t just use it as trope or a mere plot tool and then finesse yourself out of it with “the power of love”. The kid doesn’t need a new love. Yes, he needs a support system, but more than that, he needs therapy. And if you think carefully right now Prapai is more a trigger than anything else (since Sky exchanged sex for protection on the night of the race and I don’t blame him for that… far from it + constantly calling and stalking him). So in my mind I’m thinking how are they going to flip this thing around so it becomes “love that save us all”? PS: Also if I had a friend like Rain I would’ve cut him off of my life ages ago. His stupidity always puts Sky in dangerous situations and gives Prapai the perfect opportunities to invade Sky’s privacy

im a novel reader and prapai is really what sky needed, i know its hard to understand or see in the beginning but prapai is very sweet and caring… he did not trigger sky’s ptsd, his ptsd was triggered because his ex is also a racer but it’s not necessarily because of what prapai is doing to him. sky needs time to open up and prapai will respect that. i understand why everyone’s misunderstanding this but yall should give them time too 😭 its literally just ep 2 of their story. also what we need to keep remembering is that prapai doesn’t know anything abt sky and he’s always just had sex with people, he doesn’t know better

In the novel when prepai told sky to sleep with him ..he was actually kidding and more like playing with naive sky just to see a reaction but he was shocked by sky easily accepting and i guess when he saw sky being into it he went along with his joke
Sky and Pai's storyline has a very different feel to it than the with the previous two. My heart is already breaking for Sky. The actor who plays him is doing an amazing job of portraying all those hidden, deep emotions. Well done to him. Great reaction as always Tita Josie 👏

I think what Prapai is doing will help Sky. Prapai has to break through this huge wall of defense Sky has put up to protect himself. Prapai will show him that he is worth loving... I think Prapai is good for Sky He needs someone he won't back down, and can be scared away so easily. Sky seems to want to like Prapai, but his pain won't let him... that's what I see. Sky doesn't look like someone who'd seek therapy. They started off with the wrong foot, but Phai didn't know about Sky's background. As soon as he decides to pursue Sky, he is very serious about it. He takes great care of Sky and is always reaffirming how much he likes him and that it's not about sex. Sky has problems with self-esteem, he thinks he is just an object and that he is all alone in this world. Phai's persistence and care will be very important for him. Therapy would be the best, sure, but I think Phai is helping a lot given the circumstances. He'll show Sky that the boy is worth loving.
See, we the audience know the trauma Sky has been through , but Pai doesn't yet .So if and when Sky decide to share with him, my hope for him is that : his love is genuine enough and he can be the support that Sky needs ....
Lotta people are kinda shittin' on Pai but even though he started off with a "i'm rich and hot so I get what I want" kinda attitude, I feel like he is super sincere and may feel like Sky is just playing hard to get so he tries harder and since he has no idea regarding Sky's trauma, he shouldn't be judged so harshly about his actions to try to give gifts and contact him and stuff. Although he insinuated Sky had no choice initially, did Sky say no or fight him at all like "hell no I won't sleep with you!"? No, he didn't at all and Sky is a sassy prince and Sky saying "take what you want from me" with no fight at all? To me that gives mixed messages to Pai and it's due in part to his trauma but he still didn't ever say no. Maybe had he put up a fight with Pai at the beginning or even say no at all, then Pai would have just flirted and let him go, but he found Sky attractive, Sky quickly consented and bam, they had sex and it wasn't rape because Pai really didn't force him. Sky's trauma has nothing to do with Pai (meaning Pai didn't cause it) and since Pai had no idea of it, his actions shouldn't be held against him in that regard. I feel heartbroken for what Sky went through, but I don't think Pai is such a horrible guy like everyone seems to be insinuating...

Okay when it comes to that scene where sky says take what you want it's not that he did not want to say no it's the fact that how victims rationalize how others see them (this I can totally explain but to say, mind you the stuff that happen to Sky happens to real people as well. when your a victim it does not matter how long ago it was it stains your brain for a long time after) yes he did not fight because he thought prapai was the same as his ex always wanting something and not caring for anything or any oneelse. also remember Sky is a victim that had all this stuff happen and that all he knows how to do to defend himself. But having prapai there will help Sky recover but it's a long road when your with a survivor it takes time and patience to be with them to make them feel comfortable (f you get me. ( some of the stuff Sky went thru I was in those shoes and I am happy a bl drama had the nerve and guts to even touch on the subject and bring certain parts from the novel in I agree with the flash dreams skys having me mind y did will portraying it I cant wait for the next episode. @@xxena22 I totally get that, and I have different triggers from my own traumas, but my point is mainly for people to stop blaming Pai for everything. How Sky rationalizes every situation, due to his trauma, is a personal issue. Just cuz he assumed Pai was the same as the others doesn't make Pai the same nor does it mean we should treat Pai that way right out the gate. I have had to unlearn behaviors myself because I would react from past trauma but that doesn't mean I get to project onto others because of that trauma, it's my job to work through that and get help from it. Sky hasn't and it's unfortunate for sure. How Sky took the situation, as a victim, is his own 'choice' even if based on past trauma. Because Pai had no idea he was making his decision based off his trauma and maybe was just throwing the idea out to see how Sky would react, we shouldn't take it out on Sky as if he actually forced him and raped him. That's mainly what I wanted to get across cuz every reaction i've seen is "what Pai did in the first episode was horrible" and acting as if he is so bad when I feel as if there is so much more to these last 2 episodes than face value. @@gigglemethis I appreciate your thoughts as well and I know everyone has there own trigger points but some people deal with theres in differnt ways I dont think Sky at fault nor do I think Prapai was either I just think it's the personality you cant always fix what's broken but there are some people that try to fix themself or they even have others that try helping I was putting the point accross that it takes someone strong to help someone that was a survivor of his issues. I had his issues before but like I said everyone recovers there own way either by them self or some one like prapai that will end up taking his time effort and patience to help Sky heal some need help by others and some need help by just working on them self 🥰💝💚🧡💙💜❤🖤 but for your issue I am glad you where able to fix it and for mine I am able to as well but once a person dont believe in themself it hard for them self to get out of it and they need a lot of assurance you know .

I agree with you not alot of bl touch on the subject but I believe it's because they dont want to offend people that went through that type of drama its reality really it happens to men and women but not everyone like to touch on the subject due to that Sky character went thru hell and back and his walls are high and it a good reason they are. I'm confused about Sky and Rains relationship. Rain doesn't know anything about his friend. Sky ex made him believe he didn't deserve to be loved. He smiled a few time with Pai then seemed guilty about it. You have to remember Pai doesn't know what happened to Sky. All he knows is he crazy about someone he met 3 months ago and never want to let him go. It's Pai own love at first sight. Pai rushed to Sky side when he was sick. That's a man on a mission. Let's face it, if Sky wanted help he would have gotten it way before he met Pai. Pai not quitting to pursue Sky may actually help him not make things worse. Any other guy would run away from the situation.

Now I haven't read the book yet but as bad as their first encounter seems, I really don't think Pai truly intended to blackmail Sky. I think he thought he could use the situation to his advantage and tossed the idea out there in an attempt to pick Sky up because he was interested. I truly don't think he'd have really forced Sky to sleep with him if he'd have said no. Pai had no way of knowing Sky's acquiescence was a trauma response and not just him playing along. I have a feeling if and when he figures it out, he's going to feel like real crap. I also hope he DOES figure out who Sky'd Ex is because from what I have already been told... Well let's just say in some cases I DO condone violence...

Exactly with how his character was in the novel a single no would have made him let sky go. Sky on the other hand obviously had his reasons to question his intentions and thought he had no way out.
Honestly, though I totally agree with everyone's sentiment that Sky needs therapy more than a boyfriend, I think we're being a little unfair to Pai. He has no idea that he’s been triggering Sky’s PTSD or that overworking himself to distract from nightmares is why Sky got sick. Pai clearly has an inkling that Sky’s been through something, but he is not an expert on sexual assault or PTSD so he doesn’t know how serious and deep Sky’s trauma is. All he’s seen is some distrust of affection and that one moment of dissociation that he has no context for, he’s not been allowed to see all the other PTSD symptoms bc Sky’s trying to keep them hidden. It’s like trying to blame a blind person for stepping on an ant hill. At this point, based on the limited info he has, he probably just thinks that Sky had a garden variety bad breakup with his ex so has some trust and confidence issues, and given how their relationship started with a coerced hookup (that, to be clear, I think Pai still views as a mutual exchange bc he didn't make it clear to Sky that he was teasing/joking at the track, and would have just taken Sky home if Sky hadn't misunderstood it as a serious threat) he thinks that all he needs to do is work extra hard and be especially persistent to prove to Sky that he’s not just a rich playboy and that he's serious about loving Sky. And actually, yeah he is going to still need to do those things to win over Sky, but he also needs to get all the info on exactly what Sky’s going through in order to approach it more delicately and sensitively, and that’s something Sky is responsible for trusting him with when he’s ready.
Plus, not everyone needs to put everything in their life on hold while they get professional treatment. As any therapist will tell you, therapy is just 1 tool for managing your mental health, and it should always be used alongside other tools like medication, lifestyle changes, family support, self care, hobbies, exercise, etc. For certain situations it can be necessary to put things like dating on hold until you’ve put in the work to get to a more stable place emotionally. But that’s not always the case, sometimes you need real people to help you through the bad times who aren't being paid by the hour. And I can even see a storyline where Sky realizes that he has serious work to do on himself before he's ready for a relationship and Pai respects his needs by taking a step back to give him space to figure things out, then they time just a little to a happier, more stable Sky who comes along to pursue Pai and sweetly flips their dynamic. Or maybe Pai sticks by him to offer comfort as he works through his trauma. That's also a valid path to recovery. Leaning on your loved ones for advice and support doesn't negate any professional help you get for your mental health, they can go hand-in-hand.
Sky also needs to take more responsibility for his own mental health and wellbeing. Even if he'd never met Pai, avoiding and repressing his trauma clearly isn't working and all that pain would have come back to the surface eventually. I think what the show is trying to tell us about Sky is that he genuinely wants to love again bc he's got sooo much love to give, but he won't allow himself to get hurt again so he's ruled out romantic relationships as an option. He's also got serious control issues, bc if he can control his life then he can pretend the trauma never happened and pretend that he's fine. That's why he's so focused on school and always helping others with their work and problems, it makes him feel needed and valued which he needs to get from somewhere other than romantic partners.
Okay let us not forget that considering how cool Pai is, if Sky didn't wanna give in on episode one he would have let him go and I don't think he was gonna throw him back to the guards. They both might have started off on the wrong foot but they both did feel good about that night, the difference is Sky has this thick wall which he built that prevents him from thinking about that night. I love that Sky now has a person that he can lean on without that person being one of his friends or family member. The problem with SA victims is that everything seems to be okay until someone tries to get to know you then all those nightmares comes back pouring like it just happened yesterday. Pai will definitely break down the walls and I'm living for the episode where Sky can finally let it all out, breath and embrace the love he will receive from Pai.
Poor Sky, he's so traumatized after what his ex and his ex's friends did to him and he doesn't know who he can trust, he's so afraid that anybody he might get close to might do the same thing to him that his ex did, Pai is trying so hard but the harder he tries the more traumatized Sky is getting. Pai doesn't know what happened to Sky, if he did he would make sure that his ex and friends pay for what happened, he loves Sky and the sooner he finds out the better.
Sky's nightmares are getting worse and worse as he remembers what happened to him, he doesn't sleep because he doesn't want to dream and remember what happened, his body is exhausted to the point of him getting sick and passing out., I love the way that Pai took care of him and I wish that we could get a little sweet from Payu and Rain, I miss them and their sweetness soooo much, especially right now after seeing what Sky has been through

Tito, i think Pai leaving Sky alone to heal isn't the answer, sometimes you need someone to be there for you and talk to, if Pai really want to stay, he can help him heal and also help regain his self-esteem. I mean what's the point if he heals on his own and meet another person who is like his ex again, you can never really know somebody, it doesn't have to be a relationship but to me Sky needs to talk to someone about what he's going through.
i 100% agree with you what you said towards the end, with P'prai though and the insititant messages as well as rain bluntly commenting about his ex you saw him get mad at himself for going at rain that way. he knows rain isn't at fault. and as for P'pai and the constant texts and the way sky keeps pleading to stop texting him, sky doesn't want to let anyone else in because if he goes further he's afraid of being used and thrown away again. p'pai has never really properly pursued anyone so his constant actions may seem annoying and downright wrong to a lot of people, but in getting to know sky he's slowly realizing that he himself is changing. thst he's really putting in the effort and pai wants sky to know that he's putting in that effort not to be praised but to hope that sky will open up to him a bit. P'pai doesn't know that he has that past, so his constant curiousity is penetrating this invisible bubble. once it's popped and p'pai gets what really bothering him, I think pai will take the proper measurements to take more care of sky, to protect him, to begin letting sky trust p'pai more. for sky, i said this before, but when the hesitation to not let p'prai in disipates, sky will feel that not all guys are like his ex, that there will be people who want to love him for him whether it be a friend, family, or partner.

This episode broke me when i saw it today. I couldn't stop crying. Sky's actor is so amazing I was devastated... The way he was trying to convince himself that he was okay even when he's was not... I think Pai didn't help with the constant phone calls even if he meant no harm. Maybe when he will realize how much Sky is hurting he will be less overbearing. In real life when someone insist while the other person say no, they are too much but for some reasons many people are defending Pai (I don't need to read the novel to know insisting is bad). I don't hate him (I actually loved his sweetness at the end of the episode) I just want him to realize that what he's doing is bad. He seems to only want good things for Sky so thankfully we will see the change soon.
I think you dont get Pai. Yes, he is egoistic player but he is not bad person. He is hot af and he knows it. He probaly always has just to say one word and people go with him. I think he just tried pick up Sky on that race and wasnt that serious. But Sky past and low self esteem kicked in before Pai had chance realize something was wrong. For him it was normal one night stand that developed in something more.
And Sky wants love but his mental state isnt there yet. His walls are too thick. He needs buldozer to break them. Pai is that. And Sky will be good for Pai too. Someone needs keep his ego in check.

Anxiety and depression do exist unless you do something about it, it will not go away. Change starts from within, it's not the end of the world - just reach out to someone.

I didn’t think Sky’s and Prapai’s story could be as good as Rain and Phayu, but I can already see that it is going to be good. It’s not going to light and fluffy, but I like deep stories/characters too.

In this episode P'Pai was such a cutie with Sky, is kindness and worried about him however he pursed and pressure to Sky that is forced, even though don't like it P'Pai your intention is good, he wants take care of him.
This episode made me so sad. I love that Sky is such a loyal friend but I hate how much he’s hurting inside.
We all have been through something that’s traumatizing. So our instinct is to push people away and handle it ourselves. In the end we need someone to hold us and help us out . I’m happy to see sky has someone to be there for him ❤.

Sky is so fragile right now with no support. I agree that Prapai needs to figure out what's going on with Sky. But Sky hasn't told anyone not even Rain. We don't have that long for their relationship to develop and for Sky to get a happy ending. Unfortunately Prapai being a bulldozer might help Sky open up. Sky is craving love and affection. This is going to be hard to watch. #LoveSky
They are really following the novel ,so I am scared for future episodes and its really after rain mentioning about his ex from then onwards sky was having nightmares .
In my opinion he didn't do anything wrong to Sky if he thought Pai was a threat he would have been triggered from the start they didn't have the best coming together but if Sky resisted he wouldn't ave done it, Sky is getting triggered because he ave feelings for Pai and with him trying to resist the feelings is what is triggering him he needs to face it and be able to over come them also Pai is actually good for Sky because he will cause Sky to face his trauma cause he needs to he can't keep burying them..
Yes, according to the book Sky self esteem is too low and therefore he disagrees to the compliments of Prapai and thinks that no-one would be interested in him.
This was a very heavy episode. Rain giving the keys, I feel like he is just going to have Payu hold Phai accountable. I did want to point out that Sky seemed to be able to sleep finally in Phai's arms. The way they played this episode, Sky seemed to feel safe in his arms. He didn't have a nightmare and was able to sleep with Phai next to him. As for Phai, I do agree, he needs to understand what happened to Sky and also apologize for their night together. This is not really a push and pull type situation and there needs to be a lot more maturity in dealing with their connection. Till next time... Ciao.

Poor Sky. WTG stepping up to the plate Pai!!!! It shows your sincerity and maturity. I think Sky holds his cards close, not even trusting his friends, thus the reason Rain knows nothing. It’s a way of protecting himself. I wish I could hug him and tell everyone ti back off and give him a break and time to heal. It’s time to deal with some of those emotions buddy, before the trauma makes you miss out on life and love.

I think Prapai definitely needs to find out the reason why Sky is the way he is because all the things he did and is trying to do come off a bit tone deaf or he's not reading the room correctly. Also Prapai does not know what happened to Sky he is clueless right now. He does like Sky but Sky's PTSD is killing him slowly he needs someone to talk to and i just feel bad for Sky really. I don't think Pai is a bad guy he just doesn't have the proper information to make moves the right and proper respectful way but i'm crossing my fingers. Another great one Tita Josie.💜
In all fairness to Prapai, he doesn't have a clue as to what happened to Sky. I'm sure once he knows then of course he'll be more understanding towards Sky n turn it down with his advances.

Skys issue was really bad (Sky ex torched him. His ex used him like a toy and handed him around if you know what I mean) I get Sky and his many emotions ( I been there done that I had a ex like that) I was wondering how they were going to approach the situation and or how they are going to address the issues because it is a sensitive matter and can trigger lots of issues with the audience (because of the sensitive nature of what happen)
So far #MeMindY is doing good job so far but cant wait for next episode that will tell more on how they will approach or address the issue of mental abuse and physical abuse I am really mad I want to beat Skys ex butt for real that's just not right his ex did a lot and that's why Skys walls are high. Sky contacted his abusive ex to get information about the illegal bike races for Rain. That put him back in danger.
Sky's ex really did put a number on him. He is so guarded and scared and sky is putting to much on his plate and he is tiring his self out. I think Pai have some work to do but I think they will make it work.
Prapai is laying it on thick with Sky, even though he said to stop. However, I think Prapai is being serious. Sky may not want to be his boyfriend, but I think for Prapai it is a a sense of feeling needed. Prapai seems aloof & goofy due to his playboy charm, but I think he can be deeply mature & wants to take care of those around him.
The maturity is shown in his personal life. In the throwaway statement made by his sister, he raised his siblings. So although he puts on the playboy airs for the general public and likes to have fun, he is actually quite mature, conscientious and caring. His good relationship with his younger siblings shows he did a good job, and his continued leadership of the family biz means he's responsible
Poor Sky. I hate what happened to him. That ex really was filth what he did to him, because it definitely seems like it was him was disgusting. I hope Sky tells Prapai or at least someone because he needs to talk about his trauma.

yes sky is traumatized by his past and I can understand his feelings why he do not want anyone in his life and i also agree that the way pai approch sky was wrong but now he started like sky he has feelings for sky in the series only sky's sides story we can see but when you see pai's side then you can understand about his feelings he genuinely cares about sky.

What Pai's did was wrong bc he didnt gave Sky a choice but to have sex with him if he really wanted to get out of that place, yes that's forcing someone to do something they don't what. But talk about Pai's trying to pursue Sky we have to understand that he doesn't knowing what happen to Sky in his pass. Also you can see that he's trying to get to know him, but of course on Sky side we know what he's going through. me personally i think rain is a terrible friend especially for a best friend
I get that MAME books are very popular, but she uses sexual assault indiscriminately on characters who have experienced it previously. In this episode Sky says that his previous encounter was out of necessity - he was forced/coerced to do it. For a victim this increases the trauma (as we can see in the increasing night terrors). She used coercion in TharnType when the first encounter between Tharn and Type is when Tharn goes down on Type in the bathroom without Types permission.
I don't like reinforcing that dubious consent or flat out coercion are just NOT OK. Unfortunately there is a lot of that going around in the current BL series - both couples in this series; Big Dragon, KinnPorsche and even Love Mechanics with drunk/drugged participants, just to name the few that have aired this year. There are other ways to carry the enemies to lovers plot then non-con sex.

@Tito Miles & Tita Josie I think you are wrong about Prapai. He does not really need character development because for me he did nothing wrong to Sky. You can clearly see that when he met Sky he was interested and he threw the "sleep with me to get out" as a pick up line. It's Sky who took it seriously and he just along with it. Prapai thought he would throw a pick up line and hopefully get a steamy one night stand as usual not knowing that Sky has trauma. You are against Prapai because you feel bad for Sky ( Sky is a sweetheart), which is fine but you are putting too much pressure on Prapai which is not fair. Did prapai pick up line was of bad taste? Yes! But if Sky had said no, would Prapai have force him? The answer is NO judging by the way he behaves! Prapai is a teddy bear. And as time goes on, they will learn from each other and rely on each other too 😊

This episode makes the s*x in episode even worse. It was coerced and Sky was so aggressive as a way of trying to be powerful in the situation and not because of pleasure. And underscores my wish that Sky and Rain were older, at least 21 and were at work. Whatever happened to Sky happened when he was 18? That is too recent. I don't know why MAme likes putting sexual abuse as a character trope. It is gross, I don't think she knows how to depict it properly. Sky clearly isn't in therapy.
I have a problem when this shows include trauma in their plot. I’m sorry but is somewhat careless and dismissive of a very delicate theme. If you’re going to include something like that in your story at least address it with a little more care, don’t just use it as trope or a mere plot tool and then finesse yourself out of it with “the power of love”. The kid doesn’t need a new love. Yes, he needs a support system, but more than that, he needs therapy. And if you think carefully right now Prapai is more a trigger than anything else (since Sky exchanged sex for protection on the night of the race and I don’t blame him for that… far from it + constantly calling and stalking him). So in my mind I’m thinking how are they going to flip this thing around so it becomes “love that save us all”?
PS: Also if I had a friend like Rain I would’ve cut him off of my life ages ago. His stupidity always puts Sky in dangerous situations and gives Prapai the perfect opportunities to invade Sky’s privacy
